Gone for a drive in the rain...

It’s hard to work through my issues with my boyfriend when he’s got a friend over. It’s not enough that he’ll make me feel like my anger is invalid when we’re fighting... But he’ll invite his friends over when he hasn’t cleaned ANYTHING like he said he would. I’m not talking about doing a bunch of chores before he plays or some shit, I mean taking out the trash... because his daughter’s shitty pull-up is in one of the trash bags and he’s the only one who doesn’t smell it apparently. I’ve asked him for three days and now he’s waited until it’s raining and cold. So now he said he can’t, because of the weather. I did it. I’m so fucking tired you guys.... I’m tired of being the adult who puts in effort while he makes excuses.

I hate when he has to go to work. It makes it difficult when I wake up trembling from another nightmare. It’s so lonely. I didn’t hear him say, “I love you” as he went. Only noticed the cold stalk into the room and grip my body, once he left.

The “other man” in my life; he has this sickly sweet voice, and only speaks in whispers. His voice is like settling into rigid arms. His very existence mocks empathy and warmth. Just behind his warm skin-gloves, there’s an electric ice touch that keeps me paralyzed. He keeps me complacent and relaxed.

Soooooo I’m excited for my tax return, and I’ve already got someone who agreed to do these tats for me. Now if my return would get here faster. 😬
