Revelations about my plushie-purchase behavior

Two friends said two very meaningful things that I want to remember.

"I've found myself buying plush that I see on other people's pages, not realizing until after that it wasn't the plush I wanted, it was the bond they have."

And secondly – I have to rephrase it because I can't find it anymore – the other one made a point by saying: Only because we love something it doesn't mean that we actually have to own it. We can love it from afar as it is, without spending money to then have it sitting in our hands and homes. The feeling itself can be enough.
