I wanted to talk about my shifting method rq, for anyone who's looking for new methods to try.

I call it the intertwined method, I don't really know if any other person has done this but this is just something I made up for myself combing a few methods I learned.

It starts off by laying in a comfortable position and listening to ambient music that fit wherever you're shifting to. The ambience should help you immerse yourself, try doing this somewhere quiet and using headphones or earphones.

Then I close my eyes and imagine there's a red string connecting me to my Dr self. I then say affirmations as I pull on the string getting closer to my Dr self. I usually count how many tugs it takes as well. Saying an affirmation after every number helps me focus.

I usually don't reach the end until I'm almost asleep. Once I've reached my Dr self, I just imagine our bodies merging and the string slowly getting shorter and then disappearing. When I open my eyes again, I'd have shifted.

#4. Yamaguchi's decent at blocking -> there's no way my guy has one singular skill when he hangs out with Tsukki all the time

#5. Ennoshita's cooking is actually god tier -> idk but something about his face tells me he can cook.

1 - my kitchen getting blown up

Alfred has the upstairs kitchen, I have the kitchen in my lab. Difference is, people respect an fear Alfred enough to not screw with it. I'm a female spawn of Bruce Wayne. My kitchen has been destroyed multiple times. Some people are no longer welcome in my lab and now have to pay for new equipment.

2 - getting stalked by my family

One thing I did not inherit from my father that all my pseudo-siblings seemed to have: spacial awareness. I can't prove it but I'm 99.9% sure someone's trailing me everywhere. Not that I mind. Gotham's an odd place. But it's still weird when they just kind of show up. Without warning. When I'm getting a pizza or something.

3 - life360

I may or may not have stollen this from a head cannon. I don't remember where but I'll tag the poster if I find them. Anyways, life360. My dad's a hypocrite and has like major paranoia. This was the answer. At the moment it's mostly used to check if people are near food or to troll. We'll see if that stays the same.

did acrobatics for a good portion of my life because I was failing everything else

passed high school! in honors math!! 🤡 turns out I wasn't stupid, just the school system was 🤩

low-key did not give a shit about practice. I was always in the studio. company kept me tho because I made good music

Something I never got was “you can’t script that you study/workout/whatever while you’re in your DR” literally why? When you shift back, you can choose what reality you shift back to, you’re not shifting back to the exact same one you came from, because with you shifting, you are also bound to return to a reality where you have shifted, so if you’re deciding what reality to shift back to anyway, why not one where you’ve just been doing whatever you want yourself to have been doing? Just seems like another way to limit a limitless act.

so i haven't had a full shift before but i have had like a "mini shift" of sorts. this was around 3 to 4 ish months ago.

as far as i remember there were birds chirping outside and there was a boy shaking me awake (I think it was yeonjun???). i kind of broke concentration so i didn't end up fully in my dr but there definitely was a disconnect to reality when i "woke up".

it felt really surreal though and it kind of hit me how real it'll feel when i fully end up in my dr so I'm really excited! :>

I would think so! You can do what you'd like in your realities, interacting with people who exist in this world included.

Shifting is a way to experience everything and anything exists somewhere. There are infinite realities. I'm sure it'll be fun! It's like interactions here, except with the people you choose to surround yourself with.
