he’s most active at night. he will usually wait for me to go to sleep before getting up and going... somewhere?

i’m not sure where he goes or what he does, i just know that i never wake up with him in the room, but usually he’s waiting for me by my door.

once, when i woke up to go to the restroom, i heard a scuffling kind of noise from downstairs. when i went to check it out, he just stared at me from the bottom of the stairs, as if to say “go back to bed, i’ve got it handled down here.”.

and yes, he was wagging his tail the whole time.
