Why does the entire 8th season seem like a couple trying to get back together after they both cheated?

1st episode of season 6, Sam says the djin came after him first. But did it affect him. He was soulless at the time, he later states that he doesn't feel anything. Fear, love, he didn’t actually care. The only thing he seems to be able to feel is curiosity, what's to know how being a vamp feels when Dean gets turned, and he does seem to get angry/annoyed.

So how did the djin that was using fear affect him?

I think Dean isn't as stupid as he appears.

When he doesn't have Sam with him, Dean is very competent at doing research.

he doesn't retain random esoteric knowledge because he learns what he needs at the moment then moves on.

But when Sam is there, he lets him be the smart one. Because he believes Sam needs that ego boost. He goes out of his way to make sure Sam feels needed, because he's afraid he'll leave.

Something I think is great and funny is how people in fanfics describe Sam's eyes.

From hazel to green to blue and even to brown, Nobody can decipher what color Sam's eyes are

Because the color is different every time you look at them

Think I just accidentally wrote some wincest right in the middle of my destiel fic. It just kinda happened couldn’t stop it.

Sam's not even there, Dean's just talking to Cas about how bad it is to live while Sam's in hell. (It's a season 6 fic)

Trying to figure out what to do about it.

CW has very strange line between ok not ok!

So it was okay in the first episode for Sam to basically be raped by a ghost.

Then, later that same season, a vampyr(whom is supposedly in a very meaningful relationship with another vamp) shoves her tongue down Deans throat without consent.

Sam gets groped by an old lady(also rape, i don't care that it was an old lady groping a man, rape is rape. And i really Don't believe Dean would have been as okay with that as the episode shows, his very protective of Sam).

Meg(demon) kisses Dean without his consent at some point.

It was totally cool for Meg(DEMON) and Cas(angel) to have that really hot make out scene.(I'm not mad at it)

Fine for soulless Sam to bang anything in his general vicinity.

Made very clear that Sam, Dean, and Bobby have all banged the same chick.

Heavily hint that Dean had a thing going with a vamp(Benny) in purgatory.

Not to mention Dean aggressively hitting on Daphne, she like 16-17 and pretty sure she's dating Fred.

There are many others this would just get to long.

But letting Cas and Dean, a beautiful love that has been developing since season four, get a happy ending was not okay.

Instead, we a sad angel smile as Cas is snatched away and a man, who has seen and done some awful shit, crying in the fetal position. Great Job CW! Couldn't at least let them get a kiss in there first?

The thing I don't get about Wincest fanfiction writers is why don't they add like Dean finding out that he's actually adopted(like his mom was having trouble getting pregnant) or Sam was actually brought home by Mary from a hunt were she found him abandoned and she made up a story about a friend in trouble ti convince John to take him in.

I mean the dudes are hot so I get pairing them, but make them not really brothers!

*Because them being related seams to be Deans only issue.
