It’s funny to me that there are other sides of tumblr. Like when people mention it I’m like, “oh the dead gay wizard website!”

i genuinely have so much gratitude for the fact that i was able to figure out i was a lesbian so young.

i told my mom i wanted to marry a girl when i was 3 without even knowing any queer people. it has always been a just innate part of who i am. i realized that i was actually a lesbian (like what the word meant when i was 10). i came out on my own terms at 13 (at school and to friends) after being outed at 11.

i was told so frequently that “growing up would change me” or “going trough puberty would change me” that “labels change” and i was “restricting myself”

as much bullying and homophobia i have gone trough i will forever be grateful for the fact that i get to spend so much or my life living in pure honesty and love. i have at my age spent almost half of my life knowing who i am and who i love and that makes me genuinely so happy.

my first kiss was a girl, my first time was a girl and my first relationship was a girl. i never had to act like somebody i wasn’t.

figuring out who you are at any age is a beautiful thing i am just grateful i got to figure it out so young.

ok this isn’t like my usual posts but i lowk need advice or help or something. it’s probably not as big of a deal as i think it is but still?? ok so there’s this girl that ive technically known for almost 2 years but we’ve never been close, we just share a lot of mutual friends and we end up together a lot. anyway, we’ve been getting kind of closer recently but it’s not like we’ve been getting to know each other a lot, we’ve just been talking a little bit more and just interacting more than usual. it was more initiated by her but now i like get excited to see her during the day and whatnot. anyway. as we all know valentine’s day is coming up and im fine with not being in a relationship, it doesn’t really matter all that much because (not to be cliche or anything) i feel like one random day shouldn’t be the reason you go get your partner flowers or tell them you love them (like, you should be able to express that without prompting). of course it’s a nice gesture and everything, but my point is that im not really upset with not having a girlfriend. moving on, this was like “omg you should be my valentine haha” and i was like “oh sure haha” because i was under the assumption that it was totally platonic. i also was 99.99999% sure that this girl was straight because ive only ever heard her express interest in guys. so ive been going about my life and planning to get her like some candy (as i was with some of my other friends) until recently. im totally overreacting but ive been told that she has feelings for me BUT she didn’t actually say that, the person who told me “can just tell”. so now im conflicted because a) idk how she actually feels, b) I don’t think i have feelings but if we got to know each other a little i think it’s definitely a possibility, and c) idk if im like convincing myself i have feelings just because she supposedly does??? im not sure exactly what kind of advice im asking for but anything is appreciated. thank you so much for reading this whole thing because im sure it was rough.
