I just released a new song

the Quarantine illustrations, a celebration of my new EP’s released; created by me to depict the tale of a broken heart forced to face his insecurities because of the worldwide pandemic. CH. 1 - “Quarantine W U” the remembrance of when someone you loved lived by your side, and now you’re quarantined in the same space. Alone. CH. 2 - “Vagabond” the period in which one comes with the loneliness by seeking company from others; and although it was never his intention, he’s spread his hurt to someone else. CH. 3 - “No Good At Love” this features Cheers’ Sam Malone & Californication’s Hank Moody. These famous ladies men all share the same fate, although they love with all of their might, they’re personalities plague them to let those around them down, never really allowing love to realize it’s best form. No matter how hard you try, they’re not as good at love as they are with lust. CH.4 - “Loveless” she’s back, and she wants you again but she fails to realize the immense hurt you still feel, and you live through the pain on your own, she has someone else; so why be around, it’s a game the heart doesn’t want to play but she just won’t stay away. CH. 5 - “I’ve Always Needed You” despite all of the bullshit and all the things you’ve lived through since she left you still somehow long for her touch, so you decide to fight for love; get in the car and drive back to the only home you’ve had. A place it felt warm, a cocoon to crawl inside of with the woman of your dreams. CH. 6 - “What Day Is It?” this is us at the end, and despite all we feel and all we carry day to day were very similar you and I... were both trapped with nothing else to do but feel, and smoke a cigarette asking yourself how the fuck did we get here? Hiatus Is Over

So as I sit and stare at this little screen I’m taken back to a time where this bullshit blogging tool was a legitimate escape. My hair was longer; and I sat in my chair spewing my tales of woe. Love, heartbreak and the high school fantasy of thinking people care about my issues; but it worked. So a decade later I find myself typing way in the same manner I did before; but I’ve lived so much more, I’ve experienced real pain, real obsession, real love. So how can I pick up where old me left off? And even more interesting, how much different am I now then I was then? I’m still alone, writing about memories; I’m still nostalgic and complicated. How can I still be unhappy so many years later staring at the same screen.. How much have I grown if I still type instead of speak; I’ve loved but it never stays. So it seems I’m plagued to keep sitting, waiting, sulking and wallowing in my pity; while every person I’ve ever known continues their living without me.
