Mabel is a strong willed woman. Never took shit from no one and thinks that if you want something bad enough you work for it. She's quite loving and caring though once you get past her very sarcastic nature. Work before life went to shit was a hunter! She would sell the meat and bones at a local farmers market or to anyone who was looking for ethically sourced. She knows how to gut/skin/and turn any source of wild animal, even possums. Woman will not waste any part of the animal. Mabel lives in an old cabin deep in the woods secluded and away from most forms of human life (how she wants it to be to an extent) around her home are many traps but tends to make them look old and decrepit so it would hopefully turn people away. Even the outside of her home doesn't look like it's lived in either but the inside is nice and cozy. Mabel is a widowed mother who has no idea if her children are alive or not. They weren't with her when the outbreaks happened and everyday she misses her daughters. Weapons she usually has on hand are a hunting rifle and a lever action but that's only for self defense against people, for hunting she uses a hand made bow along with the arrows. Of course she's got skinning knives galore. She resuses to go into any QZ and refuses to work with or around FEDRA anything. She's never been a fan of the government and even when the world collapses she STILL says fuck them.

Penelope is the type to put others before herself; after being unable to save her uncle Ben, she has forced herself to be a non-stop crime fighter. Under the mask, she has a huge confidence boost and can socialize with those around her since no one knows who she is.

Outside, though, she is really bad at talking to people and tends to be more of an introvert than an extrovert. She has no time for relationships and only has her two friends, MJ and Gwen. It's hard for her to keep eye contact without her mask.

She's a book-loving worm who enjoys dance and art since it allows her to express herself in ways she likes. She does enjoy the company of her friends and those she trusts.

Once you get to know her, she's a huge sweetheart! Through her years as the friendly neighborhood spider, her confidence in being a spider woman has dwindled since she is more hated than loved (she doesn't realize half the time, she's many children's hero).

She DOES NOT kill and is mostly against killing.

Her name is Penelope Benjamin Parker, your run-of-the-mill spider woman. Like any other spider-man/woman/animal/person, her uncle Ben had tragically passed, causing her to become your neighborhood-friendly spider.

Unlike most spiders, she was not bitten by a radioactive spider, but her mother did when she was in the womb. When she was born, her mother's spider abilities were passed onto her "technically," classifying her as a mutant(ish?? It's complicated).

Her mother sadly passed from complications with the birth, and her father had also passed away, which led her to be given to her aunt and uncle. Penelope was your all-around straight student in school, got a scholarship to college, etc.

She was an excellent student in science and engineering but didn't make a career in it after college and just had a roundabout job like anyone else.

In her early teens, Penelope took up the mantle of being a hero known as The Spinneret.

She thought it would be cool to help the people of her city since it seemed no one else was.

Her uncle Ben tragically passed when one of her many Nemesis, the green goblin, destroyed a building her Uncle had been in. Sadly, she did not make it in time, and her uncle passed.

She has no relationships but tries to balance her friendships with her versions of MJ (a male variant) and Gwen.

This woman is 30 and has been shot/stabbed/nearly crushed by buildings/almost set on fire/ and so many more horrifying things to make sure the people of New York are safe.
