Why isn’t anyone talking about the parallel of aziraphale saying nothing lasts forever to crowly way back when he first made the starts, saying his precious creation would be shut down, to saying nothing lasts forever, that they couldn’t just be an ‘us’ forever, that they couldn’t just be together.

Aziraphales look of realisation when crowly said ‘no nightingales this time’ broken me. Him pointing out there was no victory this time hurts so much. That song will forever be tainted with heart break now.

When aziraphale said ‘your the bad guys!’ To Crowley, that really showed that he never saw things quite as Crowley did, Crowley always thought of them as a third team, another way, yet after all the time away from heaven, aziraphale still saw only two paths - heaven or hell, angle or demon. To him, he never quite fully let go, to him going with Crowley wasn’t a choice, despite seeing beelzebub and Gabriel doing just that with each other. He still saw a divided between him and Crowley, one he so desperately wanted to erase by restoring Crowley to an angel again, but to Crowley this only showed him that aziraphale wanted him to change himself - that he wasn’t enough as he was despite working so hard at their relationship over the past 6000 years.

Sobbing so hard rn. Neil you will have my therapy bill in 3-5 business years. Off to go cry over my ineffable husbands.
