I am not hugely arty. In no way would I even call myself an artist.

Anytime I’ve ever made anything I truly am happy with it was because I was inspired by the subject.

He (the man and the character) inspires me.

Here are the results of my first effort with digital art.

I plan to attempt Julian Fawcett next in honour of Simon Farnaby’s upcoming 50th birthday.

Okay so wait, I don’t know if this is painfully obvious to everyone or has previously been discussed; but where is the Captain’s love letter?

It’s established that he buried the blueprints with the limpet mine, thus it was the blueprints that exploded. Another post also noticed that different props were used for the two envelopes. Not to mention the blueprint envelope looks significantly more stuffed than the letter.

So that begs the question, where the hell is the love letter? Did he keep it? Burn it? Bury it somewhere else? I highly doubt he died with it, although that would be very tragic. I do kinda hope the letter makes a return for series 5 because I really want this question answered.

Unless he buried the letter with the blueprints, in which then we can all just ignore the question lol

had a captain dream in which i was lying on the top bunk bed in my cabin during a school camp and he was on the bottom bunk and i reached over to look at him upside down asked him why he was gay? and he just looked at me weird and he shrugged and i shrugged and i went to sleep and started snoring (???!) and then he started hitting me with his swagger stick to wake me up because i was snoring and i tried to rip his moustache off thinking it was fake but it wasn’t and then he was offended and i was offended and then i woke up
