Mumbai Indians Playing 11 2022

Mumbai Indians is most Successful Team in the history of Indian Premier League. MI has won five IPLs titles.

Mumbai Indians won IPL in 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2020. MI used to have strong squad from last 5-6 years, but this time they will be without Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Trent Boult and Quinton De Kock who were key players of MI from last 2-3 years.In Bowling lineup, MI need to find partner of Jasprit Bumrah, anyways they have Jofra Archer in the squad, but might not play this year.So, here is what is the best playing XI of Mumbai Indians:-Openers

MI Skipper Rohit Sharma is leading the side by front and has done a brilliant captaincy in last 6–7 seasons. Rohit Sharma was MI’s first retention for IPL 2022. Although, there is decline in Rohit’s Batting performance in last few seasons. Anyways, he has over 5500 IPL runs.

Most expensive player in IPL 2022 Auction. MI has invested lot in Ishan Kishan and will be opener with Rohit. He has some big knocks to his name in last few seasons. Ishan is an all-rounder batsman, which anytime would like to have in the team. He will also be first choice wicket-keeper for Mumbai Indians.Suryakumar Yadav

SuryaKumar Yadav is MI’s most sensible batsman seen in last four years as he plays very much different from other players.Yadav always allows other batsmans to play with freedom. Yadav was 3rd retention for MI. After his brilliant performances for Mumbai Indians, he is regular member of Team India atleast for limited overs Cricket.

Tilak Varma

Talented Batsman who was part of India’s T20 World Cup 2022 squad. MI bagged him for Rs 1.70 Crore in IPL Auction. MI has given shape to many talented cricketers like Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishan Kishan etc. So, Tilak Varma could be next.

Kieron Pollard

Kieron Pollard is playing for this franchise since the start of IPL. MI retains him in every auction.He led MI to win many games single-handedly. Pollard is a power-hitter and finisher and handy bowler as well.In addition to these qualities, Pollard is a brilliant fielder as well. His Captaincy is also a plus-point for Mumbai Indians, he has lead MI in near about 10 games in absence of Rohit Sharma.Tim David

Singaporean Born, Aussie Cricketer Tim David is bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8.25 Crore. David played last year one game for Royal Challengers Bangalore.David is a power-hitter and will be playing role of finisher. In the absense of Jofra Archer, Mumbai Indians would definitely like to go with Tymal Mills. Mills is bowler who has lot of variations, but he hasn’t yet showed his brilliance in IPL.

Jaydev Unadkat

Experienced Indian bowler, on whom franchises shows lot of interest, but he has below par performance in last four seasons. His best season was in 2017 when he played for RPS where he took 14 wickets.It will be interesting to see whether Unadkat fortunes will change with change in team.Jasprit Bumrah

Mayank Markande

Man who made his debut in IPL 2018, took 16 wickets in that season. After that, he played only four games in last three seasons. This year, he will be leading in spin bowling department for MI.

CSK Best Playing 11 2022

Chennai Super Kings is one of the most successful teams in the history of IPL. CSK has won IPL four times and currently are defending Champions.

Chennai Super Kings won IPL in 2010, 2011, 2018 and 2021 and were finalists in 2008,2012,2013,2015 and 2019 and was banned in 2016 and 2017.

The success of CSK is depend lot on they have five-six key players for last five-six seasons. CSK is the only team to have a same Captain in all IPL Seasons.MS Dhoni’s Captaincy and batting has played a major role in CSK’s success.

So, here is what is the strongest playing XI for CSK in IPL 2022 : –

Openers

Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway

Ruturaj Gaikwad played great role for CSK in winning the tournament in IPL 2022 and was also highest run-scorer in IPL 2022. Gaikwad last year scored 635 runs in 16 innings and was Orange Cap winner. CSK retained Gaikwad for IPL 2022 and will give him full chance this year as well.

By giving Devon Conway a chance, CSK will like to go with left-right combination at the top. Conway is sweet timer of the ball and can be one of the best for CSK this year. In short T20I career, Conway has scored 602 runs in 17 innings at an average of 50 plus.

Robin Uthappa

First season CSK will be without Suresh Raina, who was asset for this team from season 1. Last year, Uthappa played key knocks in the absence of Suresh Raina, which allow him to retain him in CSK playing XI. Uthappa was Orange Cap winner in IPL 2014.

From last few seasons, he was also out of form, but his last few knocks were enough to keep him in the squad.

Moeen Ali

Another player, who played a key role for CSK in becoming Champion. Moeen was bought by Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2021 Auction and he is retained this season as well. Moeen Ali scored 357 runs and took 6 wickets.

Ambati Rayudu

In IPL 2018,CSK used Ambati Rayudu as an opener and he showed his power in IPL 2018.As a result he was selected in Team India after his performance.

Last year, he played few knocks which almost went unnoticed. Chennai Super Kings bought him in auction again and it is expected he will be part of middle order again.

MS Dhoni(c and wk)

MS Dhoni will be their Captain in IPL 2022 as well. Chennai Super Kings skipper is not much effective with bat nowadays, but his brilliance behind the stumps is enough to dominate the game.

Ravindra Jadeja

Arguably, the best player for Chennai Super Kings in last 1–2 season. Jadeja has improved lot with the bat and CSK is using him as a finisher. CSK picked him as first retention for IPL 2022. Last year, he scored 227 runs at an average of 75.66 and also took 13 wickets. His fielding is always a plus point for Chennai Super Kings.

Dwayne Bravo

It would be not wrong if we say Bravo is best bowler for CSK. Dwayne Bravo is an asset for any side in the World and MS Dhoni used him most as a bowler.

He is among best death-bowlers in the World and a handy batsman who can change situation of the game.

Bravo always provide breakthroughs to CSK in deaths and is their main player from last 6–7 seasons.

Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar is opening bowler for Chennai Super Kings and has improved a lot.

MS Dhoni has played great role for developing his standard as a bowler. Deepak provides breakthroughs in start and doesn’t allow batsmans to go after him. CSK bought him in IPL 2022 Auction for Rs 14 Crore.

Chahar is a handy Batsman too in addition to a bowler.

Adam Milne

Speedster from New Zealand. Last year, Chennai Super Kings was without pacer who could bowl at a speed of 140kph. This year they have bought Milne, who could bowl at speed of 145kmph. Milne is usually a economical bowler.

KM Asif

KM Asif has just played three IPL games. This year, CSK is without Shardul Thakur and more key pacers. So, Chennai Super Kings could go with him in playing XI this season.
