hear me out. mexican!two-bit and daughter of spanish immigrants!marcia.

Both families speak spanish at home so they are both fluent. Sergei is staying with the Dipps as a foreign exchange student from spain and so Marcia befriends him and helps him out. While Marcia and TwoBit are still crushing on each other from afar, TwoBit catches Marcia speaking in Spanish to Sergei and falls even harder for her. Eventually once they start dating they’ll have conversations in spanish frequently and they think it’s fun to try and figure out the other’s accent.

Also if they had a phase where they were hiding their relationship, whenever they would want to say something sweet to the other at school or something they would yell it to each other in spanish as if they were having a screaming match. Everyone in school is like “wow those two really hate each other.” two bit is yelling “you look really pretty today!” and marcia’s like “oh yeah? well I think your hair looks really good today! Do you wanna sneak out together tonight?” and sergei’s crying in the corner cause he’s so confused.

You and your boyfriend Two-Bit were sprawled out on the couch, the muted sounds of Mickey Mouse cartoons playing on the TV as you rested against his side, content and comfortable. His arm was casually draped around your shoulders, and you could feel the warm, familiar weight of him next to you.

You had been watching mindless TV for a while, but your mind started to wander, and curiosity got the better of you. You turned to him, a playful smirk on your face. “Hey, do you think we had a meet cute?”

Two-Bit slowly turned his head away from the screen and looked at you with a puzzled expression. “A what? Baby, of course I thought you were cute when I first met you. You wouldn't be my girlfriend if I didn't.”

You laughed at his confusion. “No Two, a meet cute, you know. Like a cute and romantic first meeting. Like in the movies.”

He still looked a little confused as he thought for a moment about his answer before shrugging his shoulders and responding,“I don't know. I guess it was cute.”

You tilted your head, staring up at him. “You think? I mean, I remember meeting you, but it wasn’t anything special. Soda just randomly introduced us, it was kinda a boring first meeting.”

Two-Bit chuckled, leaning back against the couch and pulling you closer. “Nah, it wasn’t like that at all.” He grinned, his eyes narrowing playfully. “You’re forgettin’ the real story, babe. We actually met way before that.”

You blinked, clearly confused now. “What do you mean? We met like... two years ago, didn’t we? At the DX?”

Two-Bit smirked, his grin widening. “You don’t remember kindergarten? You know, when we first met on the playground?”

You stared at him, trying to recall the memory, but nothing was coming to mind. Two-bit saw that confused expression on your face, gave a little laugh and then further explained. “It was recess. I was on the swings and there was a line of kids waiting for their turn. You, little Miss Impatient, couldn't wait your turn and yelled at me to get off the swing.”

“Wait.” you said slowly, and a laugh escaped your lips. “You were the kid who was hogging the swings during recess?!”

Two-Bit’s grin only widened. “That’s right. And I hope you know, just because of your little trantrum, Steve called me a swing hogger for the rest of the school year. So thanks for that.”

You burst out laughing, putting yours hands up in defense. “Hey, I have no control over what comes out of Steve’s mouth.”

“Where do you think he got it from, genius. Steve wouldn’t have been able to think of that all on his own, especially at age 5,” he argued back through your guy's laughter. He then said with a shrug, “I forgive you though. I still thought you were pretty cute, even back then.”

You grinned, surprised. “Really? You thought I was cute, even when I was all angry at you?”

He nodded, a mischievous glint in his eye as he teased, “Oh, especially when your mad at me. Still are cute.”

You felt a warmth spread through you at his words as you smiled, feeling a little bashful now. “So I guess that was actually a pretty cute first meeting.”

“Yeah, it was.” Two-Bit’s grin softened into something more genuine, and he pulled you closer, his lips brushing against your temple. His smile became wider as he continued to joke with you. “It was cute even if you tried to push me off the swings you big bully.”

And in that quiet moment, it was clear. It might not have been the most picture-perfect, sweet rom-com moment, but the messy, now laughable, imperfect start had led to something beautiful—a relationship that had only grown stronger through the years, starting with a swing, a little impatience, and a school-boy crush.

here’s a chaotic list of random notes i took last night on the way home from the show

- brody makes A LOT of eye contact

- he pointed at me and smiled and giggled a bit when i was mouthing the words to him while he was sitting next to me

- victor loves his middle finger, he was flipping everyone off for most of the time he was on stage in tulsa 67

- brent is so funny to watch on the side of ggah

- he kept making snarky little remarks to himself

- he specifically said “sodas gotta watch his mouth” really loudly after sodas verse

- he fixed dans necklace at one point for him 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

- dan was soooo touchy with brent and brody tonight

- the way brent threw himself into dans arms after titt made me sob

- also the way dan was holding brody on the ground after johnnys death

- i actually couldn’t breathe

- tilly screamed “get off of me” sooooo loudly at the start of the rumble

- brody kept adjusting his wig during act 2

- at the end of the rumble when it was blackout, dan stuck his hand off the stage and fist bumped one of the girls in the group next to me

- i thought rj was going to kick me in the face during the rumble, he came very very close a few times

- josh boone was robbed of that tony

- i was actually shaking and hyperventilating during little brother

- i kept looking at brody during scenes where he was just observing on the jungle gym and wasn’t actually apart of and he could definitely feel me watching him because he made DIRECT eye contact with me a few times 😳

- josh boone is SO funny during the drive in scene

- no one ate any of the food last night

- brody and emma were dancing during bows again 🥺🥺🥺

- melody and barton really are in their own little world during the drive in

- they whisper in each others ears a lot, bev and brill are soooo toxicly codependent couple coded

- brent confirmed at the stage door that he’s 6’3

- i had a conversation at the sd with victor about us being from the same state (one of my friends is from the same town as him and he went to college with my brothers girlfriend)

- i gave dan and melody the magnets i made

- dan is the absolute nicest person ive ever met in my life i swear he’s such a sweetheart.
