Even under the circumstances during this time you all made my birthday worth celebrating! Family and friends thank you for making it a very memorable and Happy one! The universe has blessed me with the best circle of humans to be a part of. Thank you!!! My 27th was filled with extreme blessings and an abundance amount of opportunities. And the obvious a HUGE awakening and change for our world. I pray we continue to grow, wake up and speak up for those that we love and what we believe is right as the human race even if it scares us. 🌙🕌🧂Eidê te pîrôzbe!🧂🕌🌙 A huge congratulations on a successful Ramadan to all my Muslim sisters and brothers. This year was totally different. For all my peeps that are not familiar as to why Muslims celebrate Eid. Eid, is a “Festival of Breaking the Fast", that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. Typically we celebrate by dressing in new clothes, give out gifts, candies and money to all of our loved ones that visit our home. We celebrate with our community during this beautiful time. Due to the pandemic there are not guests or treat giving, no hugs, no hand shakes, smiles are covered by masks, no kisses, no visits, no group prayers and no visiting our local mosque. There are about two billion Muslims and counting in the world. If you know anyone in your circle wish them a Happy Eid. Though during this strange time we are still blessed with an abundance of technological forms of communication. It landed on a weekend, but I still hope one day Eid is a day where we all get time off as a national holiday. I pray all of you have a blessed day filled with ease, grace and chocolate sweets. 🌻🌷Happy Mothers Day🌹🌼 I am a day late, but I was having fun zooming with all the mamas in my life. I’m still in shock that this has become our norm, but we are extremely blessed beyond words! 🙏🏼😭 I hope all the moms out there know how much we love you, appreciate you and we are in awe of you! There are not enough flowers in the world that can sprout to give you what you are worthy of! The blue and green look like moldy cheese and I am okay with it because the smell tells me otherwise. This week was one of the hardest to get through with every thing going on around the world. happy eARTh day everyone! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎 I celebrated by dying natural fibers and made a rainbow. In the future I will incorporate more natural dyeing techniques into my collections. Natural dying is one of my favorites to experiment with. Even the color reactors were from everyday goods; alum, baking soda and a lemon. All I used were red and yellow beet, half of a red cabbage, and one turmeric root. Allah is the best designer of all and everything we seek and want is within arms reach. daffodils, poppies and tulips are a few of my favorite flowers... I look forward to surrounding myself in blooming nature again. Hiking, finding unique plants and bugs.
