Coffee. It’s not a word he thought about often. Since he is never sleepy, the idea of drinking caffeine never crosses his mind. The only reason why he would drink some would be because he enjoys the taste… But he doesn’t. Coffee always sounded disgusting for him. The bitter taste of it repels and disgusts him. He’s always been like that. He always hated stuff with pronounced taste. Maybe that’s why he enjoys he life so much now…

It was a nice day for wandering around. He had eternity to do so anyway, so why not? He liked it that way, looking at people’s faces while walking around slowing. Sniffing the air was his favourite activity. Guessing where were from the different fragrance he smelled, following the most delicious ones, leading him sometimes at places he wouldn’t go by himself, normally. It was his precious moments. When he could be all alone, not thinking about anything. Not being bothered by anyone or anything… Well normally.

A hot coffee wouldn’t even hurt him. Of course he was alright when he turned to the other guy, with that surprised look on his face. Usually, nobody disturbs him. He looks creepy with that empty stare, no one wants to come closer. It was the first time someone popped his bubble, when he was in his own world. He looked at the other guy, not saying a word for a while. Hm. What was that smell? A really weird one… He finally opens his mouth, talking with that expressionless voice he had since an eternity.

“ Yes, I am alright. Pay more attention next time. “ 

Small Coffee To Go ; Ren & Tao

Coffee. Coffee. Coffee. It’s the first thing on his mind, sadly enough, when he wakes up in the morning and today was no different. Though usually he made his own at his old place but with his new roommates, he never got to have some. They always drank the damn pot and he wasn’t in the mood to make his own today. So he’s already starting off tired and a bit cranky and running into the stranger, spilling his hot coffee all over himself wasn’t a good start to a morning. Not even close. 

As he was paying for his coffee, a small coffee to go, Tao should have been more alert, aware of his surroundings. It would have definitely saved him some time and energy and well money from the dry cleaners. But he turned around carelessly anyways and walked right into a stranger, who looked just as surprised as he did. The first thing out of Tao’s mouth was ‘oh shit’ then followed by ‘dammit’. What a happy camper he was today. Quickly, he bent down, grabbing the cup from the floor before it all of it spilled, and looked up at the guy. “I’m so sorry! Are you alright?”
