A bit of a change in focus

I said before that this blog was made for daily art, right?

ok, to be honest, I was not quite a consistent guy. There is quite a delay between uploads, although it's just over a week since I started, I can see the problem with sticking to this blog.

So instead of posting art every day, I will post art weekly instead, so the art can have more quality. And more time for myself as well, since I still have a lot to do. To reflect the changes, I also renamed the blog as you see.

Day 5 - The Name is Peridot!

that aside, sorry for not posting for several days, I'm busy creating a game for a game jam (not cqrpg) so I don't have that much time to make daily art anymore. but since it's over now, i'm going to just make even more art for ya guy, with a consistenly higher quality I hope.

also I tried lineless art! I'm pretty familiar with lined art, so can say that I'm stepping outside of my comfort zone. it's pretty late btw so the shading is not done yet, but let me know what you think!

Experiment with a bit of lighting here, with a Disaster Stone as the red light source. I cannot even fathom how gigi do the lighting so well, even on those very first page of CQ. Truly a masterpiece.
