Gazan fundraisers are not tumblr/ social media novelties that should wear off, just because you have come across the 5 or 75th post about them. These fundraisers are someone's life. The colonizers- the government of the imperial core- made it so; of course then, if something so unimaginably cruel is happening in the world, you are going to feel the recoil of it or the reverberation of it wherever you are. Because this is not normal. You understand that right? The Notre Dame catching fire caused more reaction amongst the government of the West; in Gaza tents with human beings are burning! Tents they had to go live in after their houses came down on them and trapped them under the rubble- there's still no genuine attempts from the world powers to stop this. They want you to think this is normal, so it is your duty that you don't normalize this. The gfms of families surviving genocide is not normal-> this sentence should be an abnormal sentence to you. It is because of this you should not turn away. In fact you should make more of an effort to go through them- to read, to donate. The engagement with fundraisers is going down! Don't let them become just another post on tumblr please- it is not even a year; Palestinians have been fighting this fight for 76 years!!

It's important to me that everyone understands that if you've got an autistic friend who periodically sends you pictures/videos/whatever of your Thing, because they know you're into it... They love you.

Now don't get me wrong, It may not necessarily be romantic love, they might not want to run off to a little farm in Montana where you'll be married forever and raise little sheeps...

But they definitely love you. And they're so happy when they spot a post about X and go "ooh, my friend likes X! I'll send it to them!".

Because they love you and want you to be happy.

in relation to my post about having more dominant and masculine male characters being headcannoned as trans men, i want to mention that i also heavily support headcannoning characters as transgender for No Fucking Reason.

i love it when there is absolutely nothing in the cannon media that could possibly be alluding to transness in any sense but we just headcannon the character as trans anyway.

i think it highlights the fact that trans people are all over, and their transness doesn't need to be a focal point of their character or identity. i hate motherfuckers who say "um. this character literally isn't trans though." because who made you the arbiter of gender? i don't need to prove my interpretation of a character to you.

maybe i see symbolism that you missed. maybe i relate to this character and im projecting. and maybe i simply decided that character is trans because i am trans and i think he's hot, and honestly, that is a perfectly valid reason too.

trans people deserve to be included in everything unquestionably. this includes fandoms and headcannons. even if you think its baseless and wrong. even if you think it's stupid. even if you think its cringe. idgaf. izzy hands is transgender because i said so.

i fucking love when there's a community who headcannons an angry dominant gorgeous masculine sexy man as transgender.

i've always personally seen people headcannoning twinks and submissive men as transgender. i figure it's a byproduct of the whole 'soft boy cute little submissive trans boy' stereotype.

i love my twinky submissive trans men, but it'd be nice for the rest of us to be as widely recognized in media and their fandoms.

what im saying is that i need to see more representation of trans men who are masculine and dominant. sometimes i think "trans men don't have to be masculine to be valid" bleeds into "trans men are not masculine ever and thats valid" in some people's heads.

and specifically in sexual works, sometimes i think that misogynistic idea of "pussy = submissive, dick = dominant " is there. people struggle to fathom a sexy dominant man having Not A Penis.
