Another year another blob.. It was a slow blob year, probably because I had the perfect hole to drop them in. Slow to posting pictures, but i’ll get them posted. Found lots of weird stuff....not just blobs..

I really really needed a bigger stick. Sat for around an hour waiting for this one. Vultures have been overly vicious. This one was waving like a red flag in the wind. If I hadn't waited, it would have ended badly for the new calf. But hey, it is my job..Added a before picture just to show the size of this thing. It was huge, weirdly huge.

My dogs are masters at luring in varmints into the yard to kill..I really really thought this guy was playing possum, but, sadly he wasn't.

Its a new season and to start it off, I found a OB sleeve in the middle of nowhere and my first blob to cart off..

This balloon was at the corrals and was freaking the heck out of my silly horse...No string. Was a bad day for me that day, but balloons always pick up my spirits....

While waiting for a cow to have her calf, I got antsy and drove over to get a closer look. She had popped the calf out, but did not get up right away. I thought from the distance I was watching from, I could see something behind her. Sure enough, there was a nice big calf behind her with the birthing membrane still incasing him. I surged over and started trying to break it off his face before he suffocated. Yeah, that's part of my job, but is probably the scariest. As I crouched down and started trying to get that membrane broken, she stood up and turned to me. I was like, “Crap, crap, crap.” This cow is out of Stinkeye. He branded most of his offspring with lots of white around their eyes. So when they look at you, its like they’ re giving you the stinkeye. Anywho, I got it ripped off without getting killed. But when I drove around to watch and make sure he was breathing, I noted a blob of slime on Julius..ugh...

OK. so this is a picture of my 4wheeler. Not what I intended, AT ALLLLL. Saw a big boar running across a pasture and from what I could gather, no gullies between us. So I got my phone up ready to video the pasture flea running from me. Sped across this pasture, handle bar in right hand, phone held up with left eye on SOB crater maker. I think I topped 35 mph across this wet bumpy field. Got really close too, he was hammering down to get into the woods, thanks to me. Stopped to view what I took, and this was it. Note to self, next time put it on video....I don't get a chance like this often. So I was rather pissed.
