“Diamonds Are Forever” is the theme song to the 1971 James Bond film of the same name, sung by Shirley Bassey. The lyrics were written by Don Black, and this was the second Bond theme to be performed by Bassey (the only artist to do so).
The single was released in November 1971, just a few weeks before the premiere of the movie. It eventually peaked at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100.
