Overall Apology/Disculpa general

ESPANOL / SPAINSH Esto es algo que me di cuenta a lo largo de los años, nadie me ha dicho realmente que tenía que disculparme. Hice esto yo mismo y esta disculpa es para presentarme y disculparme por los errores que cometí.

Estoy enviando esto aquí para agregar una disculpa que me gusta hacer a la comunidad, especialmente a aquellas en las comunidades de América Central y del Sur que han visto mis dibujos de crountryhumans. Para que quede claro, me disculpo porque durante los últimos años de cuarentena me di cuenta de que cometí grandes errores y acciones inadecuadas al hacer los dibujos que creé de los countryhumans. Digo esta disculpa porque solo quiero dejarlo salir y siento que es lo correcto.

Después de dejar el fandom de los countryhumans, noté que la gente tiende a decir o comentar que a veces los countryhumans o principalmente cómo los países no están dibujados con una representación precisa y, en cambio, pueden parecer estereotipados. Las personas que he notado comentan más sobre cómo les molesta que su país no tenga una representación precisa. Y es totalmente comprensible pensar eso. Aquí es donde estoy haciendo mi disculpa.

Sé que he dibujado los países de América Central y del Sur de manera inadecuada. Sobre todo con los personajes Ecuador, El Salvador, Colombia, Panamá, Venezuela e incluso América. A pesar de que hice estos dibujos en la escuela secundaria cuando era un adolescente y solo quería dibujar estos personajes, sin embargo, me sentí así no excusa las acciones y el dolor que pude haber causado al dibujar estos personajes en ese momento. En mi punto de vista ahora, mirando hacia atrás, sentí que no les di una representación precisa y les di rasgos y diseños estereotípicos. y estoy bastante seguro de que las personas que son de países de América Central y del Sur ven mis dibujos y probablemente se sientan molestos o incluso incómodos.

Así que esto es principalmente una disculpa a las personas de países de América Central y del Sur que vieron mis dibujos y se sintieron incómodos, molestos o incluso descontentos con lo que dibujé. Tienes todo el derecho de sentirte así e incluso criticarme por ello. No di la mejor representación y diseño para estos países e incluso su cultura. honestamente déjame saber cómo te sentiste con los dibujos que hice con los dibujos nuevos y viejos dame tus pensamientos honestos por favor. Y definitivamente no puedes perdonarme por las acciones que hice cuando dibujé estos personajes. Ahora sé que Representar y dar una cultura precisa es de gran importancia para la comunidad porque si se hace de manera incorrecta, otras personas pueden asumir algo diferente e incorrecto de un país/cultura e incluso pueden estereotipar el país sin saber que puede molestar a las personas que viven en esos países.

Obviamente, no puedo hablar por todo el fandom de los countryhumans, esta publicación es principalmente una disculpa personal de mí y de las personas que viven en los países de América Central y del Sur que vieron mi arte y les molestó.

Dibujé estos personajes como quería sin pensar en los efectos que podría tener con las personas de la comunidad.

Espero que puedas perdonar y entender y entiendo totalmente si crees que esta disculpa no está bien y no tienes que perdonarme. Solo quiero dar un paso al frente y decir que yo mismo me creo que algo he hecho mal al dibujar a los countryhumans en especial a Ecuador.

ENGLISH / INGLES This is something I relized over the years no one has really told me i had to make this apology. I did this myself and this apology is to come forward and apologize errors I made.

I'm reblogging this here to add on an apology I like to make to the community especially those in central and south American communities that have seen my crountryhumans drawings. Just to be clear I am making this apology because over the past years of quarantine I realized I made huge mistakes and  unsuitable actions when making the drawings I created of countryhumans. Im saying this apology cause I just want to let it out and I feel like it’s the right thing to do.

After I left the countryhumans fandom I noticed that people tend to say or comment that sometimes countryhumans or mainly how the countries are not drawn with accurate representation and instead may come off as stereotypical. People I’ve notice further comment on how it bothers them that their country isn’t given accurate representation. And it’s totally understandable to think that. This is where I am making my apology.

I know I have drawn the central and south American countries in an unsuitable way. Especially with the characters Ecuador, El Salvador,  Colombia, panama, Venezuela and even America. Even though I made these drawings way back in highschool when I was a young teenager and just wanted to draw these characters however I Felt like this doesn't excuse the actions and hurt I may have cause when drawing these characters at the time. In my point of view now looking back I felt as if I didn’t give them accurate representation and gave them stereotypical traits and design. and I'm pretty sure that people that are from central and south American countries see my drawings and probably feel bother by it maybe or even uncomfortable by it.

So this is mainly an apology to the people that are from Central and south American countries that saw my drawings and were uncomfortable, bother or even unhappy with what I drew. You have every right to feel that way and even criticize me for it. I didn’t give the best representation and design for these countries and even your culture. honestly let me know how you felt with the drawings I made with the new and old drawings give me your honest thoughts please. And you can Definity not forgive me for the actions I made when i drew these characters. I know now that Representation and giving accurate culture is a huge importance to the community because if it’s done inaccurately other people may assume something different and incorrect of a country/culture and may even stereotype the country without knowing it may bother the people that live in those countries.

Obviously I cannot speak for the whole countryhumans fandom itself this post is mainly a one-on-one apology of me and the people that live in central and south American countries that saw my art and were bother by it.

I drew these characters however I wanted without thinking the effects it may have with people in the community.

Hope you can forgive and understand and I totally understand if you think this apology isn’t well and you don’t have to forgive me. I just want to come forward and I say that I believe myself that I have done something wrong when drawing countryhumans especially Ecuador.
