ZYC's face as he found Jiu dead just broke me.

And then he finds his bells clutched in Jiu's hand - the bells he felt brave hearing. And I think something in ZYC utterly breaks.

a small part of me died when i realised zhuo yichen wasn’t wearing bells in the special episode.

because of course he wasn’t. how could he, when he no longer has any brothers to need that comfort of having him wear them?

but then he wears the bell with no clapper, the biggest one he’s ever adorned yet soundless as though it knows the one who’s movement once made it jingle will never move again. and he carries on in search of the little hope he has left.

i wonder if the weight of it dangling from his hair brought him the familiar comfort of a smaller hand clinging to it.

I’m left with two questions.

Why did they show Dome in the taxi going home to see Tonkla after Great saved him while he was in his 4 minutes?

And how did the woman (who Great killed in the hit and run) doing the ritual affect the story? What was she trying to accomplish? It didn’t look like final rites for her son or anything like that to me.
