Thanuel looked at his son and shook his head a bit. “N-nothing, Eli… it’s nothin..” He gulped a bit.

“It will Sammy, we just have to visit Gabriel. He can fix this. Shhhh, you’ll be okay.” Eli cooed, holding Samandriel softly, trying to calm him down. “I promise everything will be okay.”

“Why!? Did he do something bad to you?! Did he deserve it?!” Eli shouts, in obvious distress.

“That’s fine, let me get Envy and we’ll go.” Eli replied, grabbing his archangel blade and putting it in his blade pocket. Jumping over his bed, he turned off the lamp then walked over to dean in the doorway, his hand in his jacket pocket.

“We can go out. But once we get back home I might pass out, if that’s okay with you.” Eli responded in a low voice. He glanced over at his serpent lamp on his nightstand, reminding himself to turn it off this time before he leaves.
