In a world where JJ’s the senpai she’ll most like be seen from the outside as the cool, calm and unshakeable as well as wise individual. But there’s a secret side to her that only her kouhai gets to see, usually early in the mornings or after work. Her affection is often layered with unspoken intimacy.

She doesn’t really announce that she’s on her way towards her kouhai’s desk, the sound of her heavy footsteps and the sound of her rustling jacket brings her presence to light. She can’t really surprise her to often cause of this but it doesn’t stop her from pressing her belly against the chair where Minerva’s usually seated.

“Morning Minerva-chan~ you’re up early, you trying to outshine the sun?”

Headpats much like shoulder rubs which were never rare. JJ always made a point of doing it whenever Min Min felt stressed. And JJ always remembered her kouhai’s coffee order down to the finest details. Never really asking but she knew that Minerva could use one for the long day ahead of her. Showing up with the cup already streaming, already perfect and held in hands that are softer than marshmallows.

“Here, just the way you like it. Because I do pay attention, even when I’m too full to think. You’re doing great even if you do overwork that pretty little head of yours.”

On other days where her kouhai didn’t seem to notice how much time has passed, JJ made sure to scold her. Not with actual anger or course be with pouty but still firm reprimands. Leaning over just enough to distract her enough from her work and her brain that was working overtime while pinching her cheek.

“Minerva… it’s already hit lunch time, please don’t just work work work without eating something.”

Usually she’d give in and other times she’d be so persistent on finishing quickly, so JJ takes it in her own hands to motivate her.

After her usual morning greetings are out of the way she’d waddle off each one of her steps sent ripples of her excess flab wobbling. Her hips rolling with practiced rhythm, the weight of her indulgent lifestyle was displayed with pride. Just as she reached the hallway exit she turned back while raising a finger up to her double chin.

“Don’t forget, we’re still on dinner tonight. There’s a new steakhouse that just opened up and I’ve been dying to go there.”

A twinkle in her eye showed that there was a lot more than what she was intending for the pairs shared evening after work. JJ had ever intention to show off how someone like her became so gloriously overfed and obese. That ravenous side of herself stayed mostly veil to what she showed off during work.

“See you later~”

Lazily she waved over her shoulder before disappearing completely down the hallway she was leaving out of. The sound of her waddling gait and heavy footsteps fade into the distance. But her presence still weighs on her kouhai, she’s the main one who looks out for her and if anyone bothers her they can take it up with JJ.
