“Which spices go with which foods” lists are of limited value to me because, like, I have functioning taste buds. What I really need is a “spices that need to be added at the start of the cooking time in order to properly develop versus spices that need to be added in the last five minutes because extended heating fucks up the flavour profile” list – that shit is not intuitive.

Height : 5’6
Costume : Black bodysuit with purple piping and highlights, purple domino mask, boots with purple laces
FreezeFrame is a skilled chrono- and cryokinetic, and rather foul-mouthed. He takes great pride in being a ‘villain’ even though many that know him would disagree that he is one. He tends to do the ‘right/good’ thing a little ‘too often’, and his villainous efforts are a little… not all villainous. He *hates* when people think of him as a hero, left alone claim that he has the heart in the right place. (Truth be told, he’s still flattered when he thinks no one’s looking) He is a quick thinker, capable of assessing situations at first or second glance.
Unfortunately he’s even quicker at acting, often jumping into the fray before the first glance reached his brain. He can be a bit unorganized, sometimes forgetting his powers in the heat of the moment.
He has ongoing rivalry going with MetaMorphia, which over the years developed into a consensual, mutual hateship.

In the Bonus Story, you can only romance MetaMorphia and FreezeFrame together in a polycule. These two thrive on their rivalry, you can't just separate them like that D=

For those that have played my other game 'The Ballad of Devil's Creek', you know how the game has you set a few things about your character before the story starts:
Height, Hair. whether you drink alcohol or not.
Now, right now, in the new version of CuCu I'm gonna have that too, and I'd like your input for what to potentially set for your parent and kid MCs.
Right now I got:
Height
Hairstyle/Texture
Glasses
All the little things set there are bits and bobs that come into play down the line for flavor/immersion text. I'm putting them before the story because I find that setting these in-story tends to get a bit clunky. ymmv of course.
So, thoughts? Toying with letting the reader set their MC's diet here too.

Here's one promise:
Nothing posted there will be locked exclusively behind a paywall. It will appear there a little earlier, but the only thing you'd 'miss out' are the fancy discord roles? (And the closed beta once the game reaches its final chapters, but that had always been planned to be closed, and isn't completely tied to patreon either, more to being someone I can trust)
But still, every bit helps. <3
Also, in much nicer news: Almost done porting ch6 to sugarcube, which means the overhauled version (albeit without any new chapters yet) will go up on itch soon.

talking about name shenanigans over in 'Ballad of Devil's Creek': Cucu will have the option to say that your name (and your kid's) is the short form. So, you can e.g. be called 'Mag' + plus a nickname, and tell the game that it's short for Margaret, so it'll appear like that in the stats and then some. Or have the kid be 'Polly' be nicknamed 'kiddo' and have the full name be Apollonia
