The little boy in the picture is me (an old photo mixed with rough sketches and inks). . I wondered if I could go back to visit that little boy (who was caught trying to fit his whole body in the snack cabinet 😂🤣), what would I tell him? I would just tell him to memorize Jeremiah 29:11, and tuck it in your heart. That’s it, no other advice than that. That verse will tell him that God cares more about him than he could ever imagine. And along the way, God will allow him to experience SO MUCH LOVE. Sure, he will have ups and downs. The memories will live longer than the people he will share them with. But ultimately, he will know that there is a plan to prosper him and not to harm him, a plan to give him hope and a future. . I hope whoever reads this knows that as long as you’re breathing, there is hope and a future that lie ahead of you. No matter your circumstance, your age, or your story. It may not always appear that way, but there is hope. If you can, close out 2021 with being close to the ones you love, or spending time reflecting on those moments that made you feel loved. 2022 is almost here. Be hopeful because there are plans for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
