Lance let’s go of the breath he didn’t realize he was holding as he sits next to the pod.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry…” Lance mutters as tears starts to cloud his vision again.

Those were the last words he said as he bid goodbye to both Red and Blue Lion as he exited the hangars for what Lance hopes to be the last time.

He couldn’t stay there anymore, he just couldn’t. They wouldn’t understand unless they were in his position.

They didn’t need him anymore. They didn’t need them anymore.

after one billion years, an update

I am making a revision of that Venom AU in my head of shance /kurance

Shiro and Lance are roommates and he knows about the symbiote Kuro.

Shiro and Lance are close friends but Kuro is absolutely smitten with Lance and Shiro has to act as the wingman.

Shiro hasn't initially thought of Lance in that kind of way due to a few emotional hang-ups, but he does see the appeal and Lance is pretty chill with being courted by living alien goo, even flirting back.

Shiro does feel like he is 3rd wheeling sometimes.

Everything gets a bit tricky when Kuro and Lance want to get intimate and Shiro isn't comfortable with that yet.

Kuro tries to use Lance as a host once, but they weren't too compatible in that way and can't do it for long periods of time or else Lance gets sick.

Shiro lets Kuro use his body to get physical with Lance, slowly at first - like hugging,hand-holding, and the occasional kiss on the cheek. Shiro never realized how touch-starved he was until he felt Lance's hands on his or be the receiving end of a hug.

Shiro and Kuro then have a talk about Lance...

With Shiro confessing that he might be developing feelings for his roommate. Kuro just laughs and says that he saw it coming, Lance was just that charming.

The 3 of them talk it further and take this relationship slow and steady.

Shiro starts seeing this stray cat that chills by the fire escape outside his apartment. It was a sweet and friendly calico that Shiro cannot help but start feeding. Shiro realizes that he hasn't seen the little cat for a few days.

He doesn't know how to look for her, she was just a stray that he fed occasionally and gave pats. He starts walking around the alleyways around his apartment for any signs of her but no luck.

One day, he hears a familiar meow outside his window. It was the calico, and she looked cleaner and had a collar around her neck.

Shiro reads the collar and it says her name was now Reyna and belonged to someone named Lance McClain. As Shiro continues to pet the cat he has missed, he hears someone shouting from the street below.

It was a handsome man waving.

"I'm sorry, but I think you have my cat... It says Reyna on her tag?"

Shiro calls back that the cat is definitely Reyna.

"You must be Lance then?"

"Yup, that's me," Lance flashes Shiro a dazzling smile."Is it okay if I come up and get her?"

"Yeah, I got her... just come up the fire escape." Shiro steps out of his window and holds the cat in his arms.

"Thanks for catching her," Lance says as he gets closer to Shiro's floor. "I just got her from the shelter and I'm still trying to get her used to my place."

"No problem," Shiro says as he welcomes Lance to his landing. "I have seen this cat around my area a lot, fed her a few times too... I got really worried when she wasn't in her usual spots. But I'm really happy that she has a home now."

"wow... thanks" Lance receives Reyna who purs in his arms. "uhm... if you want, you can come and visit her? She really likes you and I don't think I have the heart to break up such a wonderful friendship." Lance and Shiro exchange contact information. Lance carefully goes down the steps with a good hold of Reyna.

Shiro watches them go, the dazzling man and the sweetest cat. He can't wait to see them again.

Shiro, a science teacher, chaperoning/supervising an elementary school field trip to an aquarium. During the trip, there is a presentation by the Aquarium of their "mermaids" Swimming in one of the big tanks. Shiro is as mesmerized as the kids.

When he finally catches them, the kid goes ballistic about wanting to save the mermaids and return them to the sea. Shiro tries to calm them down but the kid is still crying. The door behind them slowly opens to reveal the merman from earlier but in civilian clothes and Still wet hair. The kid looks at the man with big tearful eyes and starts talking about mermaids. It takes a while for the man to sort of getting the gist of what's going on, he kneels down to the kid's level and with a sweet smile and calm voice, starts talking to them.

The man starts explaining that he isn't a prisoner, but a paid employee of the aquarium and is there because he is taking care of his fish friends. The kid seems satisfied with that answer and goes their merry way. The man turns to Shiro and apologizes to him if he said something inappropriate to his child. Shiro corrects him by saying that he was their teacher and not their parent.  The man introduces himself as Lance and a marine biologist who does occassionally join their mermaids in their performances.

Shiro musters up the courage to ask Lance on a date whenever he was free, as thanks for calming down his student.

I have a High School AU for shance that can be a Greaser AU with a few tweaks

Lance is the typical Jock that is always with a new cheerleader hanging off him almost every 2 months. He is everyone's friend - except for the Greasers, who has Keith as their leader.

During his Junior Year, they get a "new" student. In comes Shiro who was 2 years older but was out of school because of a motorcycling accident. Lance is assigned as Shiro's "helper" of sorts to get him readjusted back into schoolwork and all that.

Lance had his hesitations at the beginning. Shiro was intimidating(ly hot) with his black and white hair, scars, and black leather jacket that smells like smoke and metal. As the weeks go by, Lance was enjoying his time with Shiro - he hasn't even dated throughout his junior year, and this was supposed to be the perfect time to get a steady GF for Prom season and to be together during Senior year and then see where the relationship goes from there... But the only person Lance can see himself with for the long term is Shiro.

It takes Lance quite some time to realize he has feelings for Shiro but doesn't know how to tell the man. It didn't help that Shiro was related to that Hair and Leather disaster called Keith, who would show up whenever Lance and Shiro were together to rile him up.

Shiro was nervous about going back to school. He had been gone for a good 2 years, all the people he knew had moved on to college or moved out. He at least has his cousin Keith to keep him company at times, leading a new crew of Greasers - but not always because with him being a bit older, it might cramp Keith's style. He also had his doubts about Lance, who may be a bit shallow at times and full of himself at his worst. But when Lance was off campus and it was just them, he has real sincere moments and he was a really cool guy.

Shiro finds it frustrating how Lance is trying hard to keep up this weird facade he has at school. He finds ways to encourage Lance to be more true to himself in front of their peers.

Ladyhawke AU

Shiro wanders the desert mornings with a large hawk perched on his shoulders. The people in the towns avoid him, he was once the Head of the Royal Guard. He tries to help as much as he can despite being unwanted.

When Night falls, the Rebel groups start moving. Lance is their most skilled sniper - even if it is odd that there is a large wolf that never leaves his side.
