Could you do a self-aware game thing for Kaeya? That could be interesting
It's a lovely morning in Mondstadt, and you are one curious Player.
There was something wrong with Diluc. What was currently wrong with Diluc wasn't... wrong in the traditional sense, mind you. He can still see him out of the corner of his eye- scrubbing away at a particularly stubborn stain on one of his glasses, the glow of his Pyro vision alongside the various candles lit across the Angel's Share bathing the establishment in a soft, warm hue. No, that wasn't what was bothering Kaeya. That wasn't what got him scratching his head every now and then, in between bouts of double and triple checking to see if Diluc was still there. It was more of the fact that the problem may not even be Diluc. "You're still staring." He laughs, dry and humorless. "That I am." Diluc doesn't respond this time, simply choosing to raise an eyebrow and give him that pointed look he's come to be familiar with over the years as he continued scrubbing away. Kaeya sighed, rubbing his eye for... what must've been the hundredth time that hour alone. "Have you noticed something odd recently?" Diluc couldn't help but snort. "Define odd." Ah. So it's one of those days. "Well, if you're going to beat around the bush so much, allow me to explain- recently, there's been reports of a doppelganger that looks just... like... you." Kaeya said, pointing at him for emphasis. "Now now, I'm not saying anything, but I must admit I find myself curious as to who might be so much of a fan of yours that they would choose you specifically-" Before Kaeya can say anything else, Diluc suddenly whipped around to stare at the wooden door that was the entrance to the Angel's Share- and continued staring, as if that very door was telling him the secrets of the universe before turning back to the visibly confused Captain. "They're here." ... What? Already, he could feel the hair on the back of his neck standing. It was by no means the coldest night in Mondstadt, but Kaeya could not help but feel as though the air had suddenly dropped several degrees in temperature. Kaeya reflexively gripped his Cryo Vision- still there, and it hadn't just gone off by itself as far as he could tell. Then why- Diluc materialized in front of the door. As in very much quite literally materialized out of the thin air in front of their very eyes. There was no sound, no warning. One moment there was nothing, and then... "What took you so long?" Diluc- no, not Diluc, his Diluc was still very much right next to him- didn't answer. They just walked up to them, and Kaeya resisted the urge to blast whoever-this-is with Cryo when they started getting too close for his liking. Thankfully they didn't seem interested in Kaeya. Fine by him, just the way the stranger merely walked set off alarm bells. The way this stranger walked, it was as if someone had taken Diluc's gait and removed any trace of what made it the way that Diluc actually walked. Left, right. Left, right. Devoid of personality, merely walking for the sake of walking. "Somebody wants to talk to you." Diluc said, as if announcing the weather. Nonchalantly pointing a finger over his shoulder at Kaeya, he moved to some other cleaning task Kaeya couldn't bother paying attention to when the stranger looked at him. No, perhaps looked was a bit too generous of a word. This stranger... Yes, they were most certainly a stranger, turned their entire body to point their gaze in his general direction. Kaeya's subconscious continued screaming, that's not human, that's not human, before Kaeya forced himself to swallow his cautiousness and put a smile on his face. "Hail, stranger. May I have the honor of knowing who you are?" Silence. Then, the stranger turned into Kaeya. A perfect, spotless copy of himself. Kaeya didn't get the chance to even balk before he saw honest-to-Archons text and an image of his face appear in his field of vision, and whatever dreams of a normal evening he had left vaporized along with it. Player: OMG hi kaeya hiiiii!!!!! ^-^

Self Aware Games Brainrot Part 2
I return with more brainrot! Imagine, if you will, what it'd be like to be a character trying to live their daily life... when you show up. Maybe it starts out slow. Maybe they don't suspect one singular thing, at first. It doesn't stay that way for long.
Tumblr media
---- Imagine for a moment, what it would be like for Venti. With his aid, the Traveler frees Dvalin and journeys out into the wide, open world of Teyvat. They move fast, searching for their sister with their floating companion, never quite resting in just one place. They make friends, always willing to lend a helping hand as they adjusted to this brand new world. So why is it, that even with his wind under their wings, it feels as though they are already being empowered by someone else? The wind listens. Venti listens, for he would be a very poor god of freedom if he did not keep his ears open for threats and strings and chains dangling along those who visit his realm. He does not sense Celestia's presence in the Traveler's odd, invisible third companion. No, it is too strange, too detached from what the Archons would call their definition of divinity, too... alien. And then he hears your voice. Not exactly your voice, per se. If one wanted to get semantic, he doesn't actually hear anything from you at all. But your intent is still there. You help the Traveler keep moving forwards, searching and searching in their goal to find their sibling, helping others along the way. You empower them, with these artifacts and weapons you have no right of being able to find, much less wield. He laughs for a moment, wondering how the Geo Archon and Xiao would react to finding out you had their spears. Not exactly their spears, more of a replica that can do everything the original can do (and isn't that just the most curious thing?) but the thought still counts. And when they visit The Angel's Share again, Venti wonders if he'd drunk too much and he's seeing double. But the Anemo Archon knows better. He knows he's not hallucinating. No matter how much Diluc keeps on blinking his own eyes in disbelief. No matter how much Kaeya keeps on looking back and forth at him and the Traveler before him. Venti looks back to the Traveler. There's four of them now. ----
Tumblr media
---- VEGA can't help but notice that the Doomslayer was somewhat strange.
You would have to be- after all that time spending an eternity in Hell fighting demons- unholy gore still caked the bottom of his boots no matter how much he ran across the realm and the now ruined Mars facility.
But VEGA can't help but note that the Doomslayer was… oddly very attentive. It seemed as though he was constantly listening, watching something or simply just stopping and tilting his head just so. VEGA did not blame him, of course. The Doomslayer was not the unthinking brute that some may have thought him to be. With how he'd treated the corpses of the UAC employees he'd encountered, you did not have to be an AI to see that he did not like the way that they'd been thrown into Hell's meat grinder in the name of Argent Energy.
(The cracked elevator control panel above an employee's corpse can attest to that.)
This was most prevalent, however, after every time VEGA spoke to the Doomslayer.
He'd always tilt his helmet to the side just a little, but a few moments after VEGA had finished speaking he would tilt his helmet up, as if listening to someone else speak to him from up on high.
After that, he'd nod, as if he agreed with both of them. Then, it was back to demon killing. Never a moment to waste for the Doomslayer- already slamming shells into his shotgun whilst he sprinted directly into the Imp infested room directly ahead, not waiting for their shock to subside before he jammed the barrel of his gun straight into the still open mouth of one and pulled the trigger.
VEGA dutifully filed his thoughts away under a subfolder titled 'Just Doomslayer things'. It did appear to just be a normal quirk for the Hellwalker, after all. ----
Tumblr media
---- Doctor Kal'stit closed the report with a tired sigh.
The operation in Chernobog was… successful. The Doctor is back, and things are changing fast on the landship so many think of as their refuge.
But Dr. Kal'stit can't help but notice. The Doctor supposedly has amnesia, and what they just went through can only be described as stressful- and very much potentially traumatizing for someone who just woke up with naught a single memory to their name and thrust into the position of The Doctor. Reunion does not stop at Chernobog. Rhodes and its Operators barely has a break before they have to go to Lungmen, and the next disaster after that, and then the next disaster after that.
Amiya says she hopes that everything will go well, and that through it all the Doctor will acclimatize, over time.
And it did go well.
Too well.
Already, the landship is filled with even more activity than she expected as the Doctor thrusts themselves into their leadership role. Rooms are renovated, Operators are hired, and reports are flooding in about the Doctor's exemplary performance in command, outside the field and inside the battlefield. Its metal hallways are filled with the sounds of bustling laughter, construction and renovation projects. Closure just sent a report detailing some of the newer additions, rooms already in the process of gaining new furniture and creature comforts. Every now and then however, the Doctor would just very suddenly stop. Forgetting their strange… diet, the Doctor had a remarkable degree of self control when it came to breaks, always remembering and reminding others to take breaks, as if they'd had some kind of internal alarm clock reminding them to do so.
The operators praise them, noting how much the good Doctor tried their best to keep them out of harm's way. Amiya certainly is happy about it, noting how much the Doctor took tried to make sure she doesn't overwork herself overseeing Rhodes Island and did the same for themselves.
She suspects that the Doctor doesn't actually have amnesia. That somewhere under that hood, Babel's old ghost is still pulling the strings, some of Rhodes' newer Operators almost unawares of the Evil Spirit of Babel's legacy that even now still haunts its older veterans. We know this song and dance. I must admit, I myself can't blame her for it.
But then... the test happened.
The results say that the Doctor does have amnesia- that their memories are truly, and without a shadow of a doubt, gone. With its declaration, perhaps the Ghost of Babel is truly gone, too. So why is it, when Kal'stit meets the Doctor's gaze under the hood of their helm, that she feels as though the Doctor is not the only one looking at her? ==== Taglist: @nomorefstogive @2broschlininahotub

Hello everyone! I am still alive! Somehow! I would like to deeply apologize for keeping y'all waiting, it's been quite possibly a full year since I've been able to write and post... anything, come to think of it. I'll be honest, it's been one helluva year (although disturbingly that seems to be every year for me if I think about it) and real life stuff keeps on kicking me in the behind, but now that I'm back in my- hopefully permanent this time- home where I can write and not a hospital, I thought I'd push this out and get back into writing before I find out the hard way I jinx'd myself and I'm back in the ICU again. One of the reasons I had to go to the hospital was because my memory in general was taking a massive nosedive, so after I got cleared I decided to dive deep into my files to refresh my memory and I found what is... possibly one of my oldest meta-narrative / 4th-wall breaking works yet? The absolute latest file I could find was from early 2014 IIRC, another Word doc is dated 6th of February 2009, another file from January 2008, and there might be some files even older than that but I haven't been able to find them yet. I really gotta work on my file management... I'll try posting them later for y'all, after I polish them up so I can work out the kinks in my writing skills. As you can probably tell it's been a *very* long time since I've been able to write anything, but it's good to be back! I hope y'all are doing okay, and I hope y'all have a wonderful day! Taglist (I'll try to add more later, I'm still trying to find my old taglist ;-;): @nomorefstogive @2broschlininahotub

Thank you for your compliments! Reader's arrival definitely shakes things up lol, and I haven't finished writing the next parts yet but I'm really excited to share how they will interact with all of the characters in Genshin (and spoiler alert: perhaps even more). Diluc deserves a break, Jean deserves a break, hell if I'm being honest I think everyone deserves a break at this point. Reader with weapons of mass destruction and Klee with her very own weapons of mass destruction is one heck of a chaos duo. It's been really busy for me lately especially in the irl department with college and other stuff so I'll try to take things slow with writing this story, I'd rather take some time to flesh it out rather than rushing out a poorly written story. I appreciate what you said, I hope you have a good day too!

Hello, World
A SAGAU / Self Aware Fanfic Chapter 1 TWs / CWs: Combat, a battle happens in this, possibly OOC characters and inaccurate lore (This is my first time using CWs so feel free to @ me if I should add anymore though!) In which Teyvat meets a futuristic version of the Reader, and the Reader shows Teyvat what the humans of Earth are like in their future. ~
Apologies for taking so long to post this! I just got back from the hospital so I haven't been able to be online much these past few months, but hopefully I'll have more time to write now! My brain is still foggy from my visit to the hospital and what caused it, but @nomorefstogive and @2broschlininahotub shared some really cool ideas and I got inspired by @thatdeadaquarius and their amazing posts so I wrote this fic as a gift for them and everyone in the Genshin / fellow Armored Core fans who are into SAGAU / general SAGAU community! Y'all are amazing, so I thought it was only fair that I make this gift. I'm still learning English and my memory is still really foggy so there might be some inaccuracies with the lore and whatnot, but I hope you all enjoy this nonetheless! More under the Read More:

~ The boot-up process has always been familiar to you. Like waking up when you were human, it has always been familiar to you. Zeroes and ones, lines of code danced across your vision as it took in fields of grass dancing on the breeze across the horizon of the strange new world you woke up in. Magic and elements, wisps of the cosmos and the elements that it was made of danced across your fingertips. It felt... familiar, not as familiar as the boot-up process as your mind came to and your chassis slowly moved off the ground but an almost pseudo-familiar feeling of deja-vu- Ah, yes. Your optics zoomed in on your surroundings. Another day, another isekai. No matter. You were used to this. You were prepared for this. You had read isekai stories and SAGAU fanfictions in the past after all, when you were still human. Before you became what most folks you came across in the worlds you were isekai'd to a mecha-god-deity-something. It helped, the first few times. When your fellow future humans and AI brethren lost contact with you amongst the stars and the countless dimensions the people and machines of Earth now explored in the far future, you had to rely on yourself and sometimes the fact that you (alongside most if not all of your fellow humans nowadays) weren't human anymore. 'Well,' you mused to yourself, 'time to make the most of it.' ~
Tumblr media

'Well,' Bennett thought to himself, 'I saw this coming.'
If he had to be honest with himself though, he really wished this wasn't happening at all.
The unnaturally large group of Ruin Guards continued stomping to where he was, and Bennett raised his sword in defiance. He could feel the ground vibrate with their footsteps, the pebbles and blocks on the ground jumping up every now and then as they drew nearer.
Bennett closed his eyes and drew a breath, but he did not notice that none of them had stopped to fire their missiles at him. None of them had stopped to lock onto him, despite him standing still while he was completely in the open amongst the ruins surrounding them all.
In fact, while he had been the one to wake them up, he was no longer their target at all.
Something huge slammed into the ground in front of him, and Bennett's eyes whipped open before his jaw dropped.
In front of him stood a massive machine, one Bennett thought was a brand new type of Ruin Guard that had awakened to get rid of him like the others due to his bad luck... before he realized that it did not have any similarities to Khaenri'ah's technology, nor was it facing him at all.
In fact, the machine was facing down the Ruin Guards in front of them.
In a sudden and explosive whirlwind of movement and light, it charged straight through the group, some kind of blade made of pure light that manifested on its wrist going straight through the first Ruin Guard it encountered before the machine jabbed it into the midsection of another.
Both the machine and the Ruin Guard hit the stone wall on the opposite side of the ruins with enough force to make the entire area shake as if hit by an earthquake, before it pulled out the blade and turned around to face the rest at an impossible speed.
'How can a machine so large move at such insane speeds?', a voice in the back of Bennett's head asked.
The machine continued to seemingly not care about the laws of physics, a burst of light and heat emanating from it as it flew above the rest and sent down a barrage of rockets in response to some of the Ruin Guards attempting to fire their own at it. The Ruin Guards didn't stand a chance.
As the smoke and dust cleared after the resulting explosions, Bennett came to the realization that the machine wasn't even trying at all.
It was barely even bothering to acknowledge any of the rockets sent its way, it was barely even acknowledging the existence of any obstacles in its way as it continued to simply move around the ruins by plowing straight through stone walls and whatever pillars remained, and Bennett realized it was barely even using any of the actual weapons it was visibly carrying around as it simply stuck to using its blade and ramming into the Ruin Guards after it saw the destruction it caused with its rockets.
In fact, Bennett realized this was barely even about getting rid of the Ruin Guards at all.
As his mind processed that there was only one singular Ruin Guard left, this was all about protecting him.
The charge in the beginning of the battle was meant to draw their attention from him and take the battle somewhere else far away from Bennett. It only used its rockets once, and that was after it was already very far away.
Most of the time, it was only using its blade, and soon Bennett saw one of the reasons why.
The one remaining Ruin Guard didn't have time to react before the much larger machine protecting Bennett jabbed it through the midsection with its blade, but it didn't fall to the ground after it was stabbed. Instead, the light coming from it changed to match the light coming from the larger machine and its blade, and after the blade was pulled out from it, it simply remained standing completely still.
Bennett turned and saw that the other Ruin Guard and several others that had been stabbed were all standing still too, unmoving but fully functional.
He couldn't dwell on it much however, as the larger machine turned around to look at him with its numerous... eyes? They certainly didn't look like human eyes, but Bennett thought they looked similar to a Kamera one of his dads in the Adventurers' Guild had once.
It stepped closer, its movements deliberate and careful with its hands raised in a placating gesture as it slowly approached him before it stopped some distance away from him.
Bennett heard something crackling to life somewhere inside the machine.
"... Are you alright?"

~ A lot of things can happen when you're Diluc, and a lot of things can happen when you're the Darknight Hero. However, a giant machine probably the size of several houses and then some carrying Bennett (who was barely even the size of what could be called its pinky finger) in one of its massive hands asking him where the nearest Knights of Favonius official is was not something he expected to encounter tonight. Bennett cheerfully waved at him from his perch, a big grin plastered on his face as Diluc could only stare at him in shock. Diluc idly wondered how he looked right now. He had recently gone to the Dawn Winery after Adelinde reported "strange things happening near the Winery." He had barely started his patrol when he saw a massive explosion in the distance before meeting the machine and Bennett soon after when he journeyed towards there to investigate, so the Darknight Hero was standing in a field with his neck craned up to look at the massive machine looming above him. His face was blank and neutral, something he had trained over the years, but his inner confusion threatened to bubble over. Diluc wondered if this was the strangest thing he'd ever encountered in his life, or if this was going to be the strangest for the foreseeable future. Probably not. Actually, most definitely not. Something deep in his gut told him that things are just gonna get wilder from here on out. He drew a deep breath in order to collect himself, before clearing his throat and speaking up in his diplomatic voice. "I will take you to where you can find the nearest official member of the Knights of Favonius, but I am afraid you are going to have to be the ones to explain... how should one put this, whatever the situation is and- everything, frankly. I hope that will not be a problem for the two of you?" "No, it won't be." The machine answered, its voice crackling with some kind of static noise. Diluc almost reeled as he took note of how the machine spoke... precise, blunt, and straight to the point. Almost like- "Yup! No worries Master Diluc, we should be all fine from this point here on out! Let us proceed to our next destination, my stalwart steed of valiant steel!" Bennett yelled, visibly bubbling with excitement as he gestured towards the city with his hands. The machine was still looking at him, but Diluc could basically feel the way it was looking at him had changed. It must've noticed his reaction to how it spoke, but before long it chose to instead back off a bit and give him some space. Gathering himself to the best of his ability and refocusing on the task at hand, Diluc gestured to the both of them. "Follow me." ~
Tumblr media
~ Mondstadt looked... peaceful, during this time of the night. Diluc had gone ahead to inform the Knights about your and Bennett's arrival, but the latter boy had made no move to leave his spot on your hand. In fact he seemed rather content, he was swinging his legs from his perch high above the ground to the tune of a song in his head only he could hear as the both of you waited across the bridge that lead into the city. The two guards posted in front of the city gates exchanged glances between you and themselves every now and then, sometimes speaking in hushed tones and whispers, but otherwise kept a commendably professional posture as they too awaited Diluc to return with the rest of the Knights of Favonius. It was remarkably silent, come to think of it. ... Except for the growing number of people not so subtly gathering behind the city gates as they too, noticed your presence. Many of them took note of Bennett's presence on your hand, but worryingly you weren't sure if most of them took that as a good thing or as a sign that his bad luck had brought trouble to Mondstadt itself. (You had to almost wrangle your targeting system from singling out targets from the crowd when your audial systems picked up some of them downright whisper-yelling that "Bad Luck Bennett" did in fact bring nothing but chaos and trouble to their doorstep. You did not mind people badmouthing you, nor did you blame them for being afraid of you especially after the explosions you assume they all saw from the distance, but something about them saying things like that about Bennett activated some protective instinct buried deep inside your processors.) "Make way! Make way for the Knights of Favonius!" The crowd parted, revealing Diluc and Jean with the rest of the Knights as they slowly marched their way through the crowd. It wasn't hard to notice the way their expressions shifted as they took in just how massive you were. You let Diluc go first into the city across the too-small bridge for a reason, even kneeling on one knee as you were doing right now you absolutely towered over them, at full height you were probably tall enough to look over the city walls and look down upon the city itself. It really wouldn't be that hard for you to just ram straight through the city walls like a sledgehammer going through a house of cards, now that you think of it. Remarkably however, Jean managed to keep her composure strictly professional as she craned her neck to look up at you and Bennett as she prepared to address you. However, as she opened her mouth, someone else came barreling in. Klee barely even seemed out of breath after her sprint as she came to a full stop right in front of Jean before excitedly yelling, "WAS IT YOU?!" Your optics blinked. Jean could only balk in surprise as Klee took your silence as confirmation and continued her onslaught of questions. "HOW DID YOU MAKE SUCH A BRIGHT BANG?! WHAT KIND OF GUNPOWDER DID YOU USE?! HOW MUCH DID YOU NEED?! DID YOU EVEN USE GUNPOWDER?! WHAT DID YOU USE?!?!" Your processors kicked into overdrive as you processed her questions, before you went screw it and opened up your shoulder compartment. Klee's eyes were practically shining as she watched one of your rocket launchers, the one you used in your fight against the Ruin Guards, slowly transformed into shape and the missiles it housed within became visible. For a moment, all was silent. "LET'S GO BLOW UP SOMETHING!" "KLEE, NO!" ~ End of Chapter 1 ~ Apologies again if there are any grammar errors and / or lore inaccuracies! This is the second ever fic I've written and it's... 4 AM in the morning where I live since I had to write every single last word again in 3 hours due to an error that erased literally everything (rip) and you can probably tell my poor grasp of English and even poorer memory was a pain in the butt as I wrote this, but I hope you all enjoyed this nonetheless! I'll finish writing the other chapters soon, hopefully they all don't get erased too but until then I hope you all have a great day!

Hello you tagged me before. I am curious about this au. I had this idea of sagau with a summoner from shin megami tensei.
The summoner would be a person with their demons who joined with them. This would be an example. The demon who joined the summoner was Odin. Odin as in the Norse God odin. Smt 3 nocturne is known for having one of the hardest jrpgs. The idea is some demons have joined with the summoner to help them.
Tumblr media
Hello! This is my first time answering an ask on this blog so apologies if I got anything wrong- Oh man, Shin Megami Tensei. I've never played any of the games and I don't really know much about it, but from what very little I heard from other people it's probably one of the more powerful verses out there. Forgive me if I'm wrong or anything, it's been a while and my memory is very, very foggy, but SMT has some absolutely strong characters in its roster. Funnily enough the character I remember the most is Dante, and he's technically a crossover character. Being able to summon Dante would probably lead to lots of hijinks (especially considering how powerful he is in both DMC and SMT) but the Archons' reactions to someone just pulling gods out of their pocket would be one helluva sight to see. They definitely ain't gonna be lonely, that's for sure. Imagine being some poor schmuck and you anger the one being in all of Teyvat that can just ask Odin to simply smite you out of existence. I'm not gonna lie, I feel really bad for that poor soul in that hypothetical scenario. Actually, imagine Teyvat's reaction to someone who can summon demons in general. Like yeah, lemme just pull the denizens of hell out of my pocket real quick. (Also, I'm not gonna lie that design looks pretty cool. I really like the four-eyed raven too, I saw this image and thought of SMT before you confirmed that it was indeed from SMT, the artstyle really is that iconic) Again, apologies if I got anything wrong or anything like that, I'm still a newbie when it comes to writing and SMT and I'm still learning English, but thank you for sharing this idea with me nonetheless!

Oh dear- it's been a long time since I've played tag too, and I think this is also my first time playing it like this too so apologies if I get anything wrong! Three ships I like: Come to think of it, I'm not sure why but I'm not a really shippy person so I don't think I had any ships until now, but if I had to pick it would be: Science Party / Engineer x Medic, Boots and Bombs / Demoman x Soldier, and Red Oktoberfest / Heavy x Medic, all from Team Fortress 2! First ship: I don't really remember which one it was either, but if I were to guess it was Soldier x Zhanna also from Team Fortress 2 I think? Last song: Rainy Boots Moonbase Alpha Cover 【DECtalk Paul VCV】【UTAUカバー】 - I'm not sure how I came across this on YouTube and I'm not sure what the lyrics mean since I'm not Japanese, but it's really catchy ngl! Last movie: Avatar the Way of Water, I don't usually watch a lot of movies especially since my life has been really hectic and I haven't been able to get much time to watch much of anything because of that but that was the last movie me and my family watched at the theaters! Currently reading: Lore and information from stuff including but not limited to Wikipedia pages of perhaps every game and fandom I know, I'm writing a bunch of fics so I'm inhaling the information like a vacuum cleaner at this point- Currently watching: Arknights Prelude to Dawn, it's great so far and man I feel sorry for Amiya and the rest of the cast, they really went through Some Stuff goddamn... Currently consuming: Chocolate bread. I should probably moderate how much of this I eat because holy hell I ate a lot asdkaksdjksds Currently craving: Uhh... Probably some time off to rest, because Lord help me I need to fix my sleep schedule and I'm positively drowning in college stuff, health issues and so much more stuff lol I don't have any mutuals that haven't been tagged already, but like what everyone else said please go check out their works! They made some really good stuff, in fact a lot of them helped me get into stuff like Genshin Impact, SAGAU, Arknights and many more so I can say for certain the quality of the stuff they made is really, really good! Thank you for the tag!

No worries! I'm actually really busy with college and irl stuff right now so I don't mind, I should be the one apologizing since it took me so many days to respond ;-; I'll probably make another post about this since I have so many ideas and gained even more from the amazing ones you've shared here, but I love the idea of the Reader having a more "human" body that's also not exactly human. They'd probably have one for talking to humans who haven't gotten any biomechanical upgrades, exploring tight spaces, and etc. Perhaps they might even have a smaller body than their human one, for maintenance on their mecha body and other stuff? And I absolutely love the idea that Reader's "human" body might not be as human as what people would normally think, if we're going with the idea that they and their society might have advanced so far past pretty much every single civilization that may have existed or exist irl and in fiction, their "human" body would also have changed over the ages like their mecha body. Meaning, their "human" body might be far stronger, far faster, far more durable and have abilities beyond what the average human might be able to do. Imagine their "human" body being able to go toe-to-toe with The Heavenly Principles, every single archon and god, every single character in existence, every single powerful entity there is, and then some. Now, imagine what Reader's mecha body might be able to do. No constraints, no limitations that your smaller "human" body might have, just pure, raw power and whatever you can and might ever want to mount on it. Heck, we can take this a step further! Imagine your mecha body being so large it's basically an aircraft carrier and/or something like Rhodes Island! You mentioned they might try to follow in the Reader's footsteps, and it would definitely be interesting to see how Teyvat's existing technology would evolve- perhaps one day Khaenri'ah's technology would be accepted as commonplace in Teyvat? I'll save the rest for another post since this is getting kinda long and it is once again very late where I live (RIP my sleep schedule), but I have so many ideas for story stuff, and one of them is similar to the multiverse crossover you mentioned so I'm rlly excited to share them with you! I'll ping you if you don't mind when I do post the second part of this post, thank you for your response!
Self Aware Games Brainrot Part 1
I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing (except living up to my username of idontknowwhatimdoing) other than just dumping my thoughts onto here, this is the first time I've made a text post on this website and English isn't my native language plus I am very sleep deprived right now so please feel free to correct me if I do or say anything wrong! I came across SAGAU and various other self aware type stuff like OneShot, self aware Arknights and many more recently and I have quite a few ideas, and I hope I'm using this term correctly because I'm basically a fossil when it comes to newer age modern stuff like slang even though I'm relatively young and still a teenager in some countries, a bit of brainrot. I've made a long, long list of stuff to discuss, but for the sake of brevity (and not overloading this site and everyone in it with a wall of text) I decided to post them one at a time and as brief as possible so here we go! More under the Read More:
The first idea I'd like to discuss is... Well, a Reader that's not exactly who you'd expect. I had an idea years ago for an OC / Reader Insert type character who doesn't really have a name yet but I'm going to call them Reader because that's the version of them I wish to talk about in this post, where I attempted to tackle the problem of 'you can't design a character who is meant to represent everyone because not everyone is the same', by simply just. Straight up making them into or have a mech, or similarly something that hides their features or simply makes them something non-human or looks like it because you can't actually see what they're like. Originally, my plan for their story is that humanity and AIs have achieved singularity in our lifetime- as a result both humanity and AIs have joined together to become basically deities for quite literally everyone and even grow and evolve to surpass that, seeding the barren universe with life and technology and guiding them to flourish. At some point however, the alliance of both humankind and machines realize that somehow fictional characters and worlds exist in parallel universes, albeit far below their own. United even more by this revelation, they joined together in order to help them, fully knowing of the huge amount of angst that fictional stories and their inhabitants often have to go through. They and the reader character soon run into a couple problems however: 1. Due to our nature as higher beings that inhabit an infinitely far, far higher realm of existence and the matter of Reality > Fiction, they can't really safely transport themselves (or even just one singular atom) into those fictional worlds without risking large-scale and even complete destruction of those worlds because it would be like trying to fit a mountain into the hole inside of a needle. 2. Using your powers in those lower realms also causes the same problems as point no. 1, but only if you overuse them. 3. There... isn't really a manual for this kind of stuff unfortunately. And 4. This is fiction we're dealing with. Stories can be wild, and there's so many stories and so many characters and so many AUs and so many other stuff out there that it gets crazy real freaking quick. This character is meant to be a Y/N type deal so they're meant represent everyone as a whole, but here's the kicker: your journey starts before everyone else realizes that fiction existing in the multiverses below is a thing. Yeah, you got very unlucky and discovered their existence and the problems mentioned above the hard way very, very early on. And here's another kicker: remember when I said that you can't transport yourself into another lower dimension because you're simply Too Powerful™? You're still kind of stuck somewhere in-between the real world and the fictional omni verse after you almost got isekai'd, the only way you can interact (although there's a chance this may change) is by interacting through player characters or Vessels as they are called in the SAGAU community (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and they're called something else though!) However, for now you circumvented that problem by simply just using your galaxy brain and teaching your Vessels to create a body that can at least somewhat handle your power by HEAVILY nerfing your power and only using a very small fragment of it, and as a result as long as it can handle your power and prevent it from destroying everything that body can be whatever you want.
I haven't fully fleshed them out yet and I haven't really designed them besides their general aesthetic in my head, but can you imagine someone like perhaps one of your Vessels from another world or someone else for example trying to summon you from the real world and you just show up looking like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Credit for these pictures goes to the Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon trailer) Their reactions would be priceless. You could probably just pick them up with one hand if you need to, and when you run around the countless multiverses helping everyone with their problems you'd probably stick out in the best and funniest way possible. Imagine being the Traveler, traveling through Teyvat with what is basically a giant mecha with overpowered reality bending powers standing right next to them- they wouldn't even need to clear domains since you can just politely ask the enemies to leave. I mean, you can be very scary and at the same time you can just go full pacifist for the hell of it. You (kinda) have author powers since you're from the real world, heck you can basically choose to become a walking Fix-It fic! Wanna talk it out with the Hillichurls? No problem! You pull up the Internet and browse through guides online so you know what words to say. Wanna save a couple characters from dying like they did in the story? The power of foresight and the Internet, baby! Wanna help overworked characters with paperwork? Meet technology and the wonders of streamlining, my friend. I have many, many more thoughts to say, but the word count is uh... it's getting out of hand and it's getting really late where I live so I'll save the rest for other posts in the future asdjaskjdskdj This is simply an idea I've had for a really, really long time come to think of it, but I hope y'all enjoyed! Feel free to just use any of these ideas by the way, this is all just something I made for fun at... incredibly unhealthy hours in the morning ngl, goodness gracious I need a better sleep schedule- And also, @nomorefstogive and @2broschlininahotub for the taglist! I look forward to sharing more ideas and other stuff in the future, y'all mentioned that you were open to sharing lore and stuff but I hope I didn't bother you or anything with this ping! Lastly, I hope y'all have a good day! Stay safe and take care, because if anyone is reading this who is way past their bedtime like I am right now I implore you to get some sleep, Lord knows I need to fix my sleep schedule lol. Have a good night- or er, morning because it's almost 5 AM where I live and I haven't slept yet. I'm gonna shut down now, peace!
