I feel like this has not been a thing but tbf I didn't keep up with new sets for many years until I got back into it last summer. I've seen a scary amount of people interpret the Mechanic's scene with Zane in s6 as sa when it is... nowhere near that??? That is organ harvesting he does, NOT sa.

It's very clear he sees Zane as nothing but an object with clean and pristine parts, and it's clearer that Kryptarium is smart enough to not let him have super sophisticated parts.

This is not a man sa'ing someone, this is a man preparing to do an amateur organ harvest on a robot with a shitty prison spoon... PLEASE stop inserting themes that DO NOT exist into a kids show... you can be uncomfy with him for organ harvesting, you can pick any of his suspected 37 crimes... but making up sa as one of them is just weird.

Today someone stole my credit card info and spent hundreds of dollars on Chipotle food and p*rn. I was able to dispute it with my bank but usually fraudulent charges can take up to a month or two to be returned to your bank account. some facts for western christians this holiday season:

jesus’ birthplace is under military occupation

palestinian christians are forced out of their homes as israel continues to build apartheid walls and illegal settlements

churches have been deliberately targeted in airstrikes, arson attacks, and settler violence

nuns and other clergy have been targeted in violent attacks

indigenous christians of the holy land have begged for help from christian communities abroad, fearing for their lives and even a possible extinction, according to christian religious leaders there

I think the Ninjago fandom SERIOUSLY needs to realize that we should not be singing Ninjago, and by extension, Lego's praises every time there's a bit of diversity seen.

Let's not forget, the basis of Ninjago is still completely an Orientalist view of ninjas and a bunch of Asian cultures lazily slapped together.

Let's not forget that every disabled character has been a villain (even if some of them joined the heroes later on that doesn't change much).

Let's not forget one of their disabled villains is literally named fucking Daddy No Legs (I know it's a joke about the daddy long legs spider but it's SO fucked up)...

Let's not forget that the ONLY canonically queer character is ambiguous. We don't know what she identifies with, we just know she's some flavor of queer.

Let's not forget this is the same franchise with the racist caricature that is Chen.

Let's not forget about the "magical islanders who sacrifice someone to their angry god so they don't die".

Sure, there COULD be a chance to finally change and improve but seeing as this show has been going on for 12 years, I highly doubt they're just gonna start doing better rep for anyone possible out of nowhere
