imagine how much more fucked up the history of the world would be if eating someone's brains reliably conferred on you their memory and knowledge

something genuinely insane about going somewhere and getting to feel “i had some of the worst years of my life here” and “i was loved here, once” simultaneously.

it's our 1 year anniversary
i was a freakish little strange loser in high school (i still am but i'm a hot adult now) and i was pretty low in the coolness hierarchy so people from my school didn't tend to fancy me bc it wasn't the done thing, socially. anyway someone who was in the year above me and was very Cool and Popular just told me that he had a crush on me in school when we were 13 and 14 and i think that's really funny. so i'm going to have sex with him about it tomorrow

I love ruined castles so much we should build a bunch of castles for no reason and then hit them with hammers to ruin them up a bit. Put a chest with a rusty shortsword in a few. For hikers to enjoy

I'm a really big fan of the way demons were, for some time, depicted as being covered in beastly faces. Especially on their torso. Thinking up a tattoo in that style. Would you know of a collection of examples? Or some particularly interesting sources? Trying to collect them for inspiration.
gastrocephalic demons my beloved! idk of any collections but here are of some of my favs, all from 15th or 16th c. manuscripts 😌
