B.Tech course from Manipal University

Established in the year 1956 in the state of Karnataka, Manipal University is a deemed university and is also a member of Commonwealth Universities. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in the field of engineering, medicines, pharmacy, communication and hotel management.

For admission in B.Tech programme the University conducts an annual entrance exam by the name of All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET). Candidate needs to register themselves on the official website to appear for the examination. The registration fee is Rs. 1400.

Eligibility Criteria to apply for B.Tech at Manipal University:

Candidate must be an Indian citizen

Candidate qualified 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and English as mandatory subjects and Chemistry/Biology/Vocational Courses as optional subject are eligible to apply. Required percentage of marks is 50% in Physics, Chemistry and one optional subject combined.

For lateral entry candidate must have 3 years diploma degree in Engineering offered by Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or B.Sc Degree with 45% minimum marks and mathematics as main subject.

Application of B.Tech at Manipal University:

Application form of B.Tech at Manipal University needs to be filled in writing and in case of any overwriting or manipulation in the form, it will be rejected.

The application form need to be sent through Demand Draft sent in favour of “Manipal University” payable at Manipal or Udupi. Don’t forget to mention the application number and name on backside of the DD.

Also enclose a recent passport size color photograph and copy of required certificates as mentioned in the form.

Candidates will be selected on basis of marks scored in All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MUOET).
