Hey Everyone!

How’ve you been?

Honestly, it’s been interesting in this neck of the woods. A lot’s gone on and I haven’t really made progress with this platform like I thought I would have. It’s not bad though. I did start supporting my sister in law through religiously watching her stream Fortnite for six months, made connections there that I’m proud to say I have, and started writing for charity blog too. My message is all about positivity and giving back to US & Allied service men and women who are both active duty and veteran status. The organization, StackUp, promotes positive mental health and focuses on stopping veteran suicide through gaming and geek culture. Cool, right? I’m stoked!

The first installment of this segment can be found in the news section here. So far there are five to be posted on Thursdays from here on out. I’m excited and honored that they trust me to represent them and hope you have a chance to show your support too.

The Dragon’s Soulmate

The Last Obsidian Dragon Warrior has been battling an endless, winless war against it and needs help but he’s tired and dying. They need each other to defeat it but happen to just miss each other in life cycles. Millions of years later she’s still alive, taking forms in that world without truly knowing why. Each new life cycle has her forget which leaves her memory to come to her in nightmares. The form she is now is a young confused human woman.

She and her adoptive brother go to renaissance fairs for fun but she uses it to look for ways to eradicate her nightmares. This fair turns into more of an adventure than she expects, meeting a shopkeeper, Brandon, who thinks she stole a piece of jewelry peruses her over it and learns far more than he thought he would. Stary Rating 16+ (Ao3 Rating Equivalent: M) Complete 28/28 Chapters With a Sequel on the way getting into how Raine reunites with her brother Peter by means of his beloved game, Dungeons & Dragons. The Omega Witch

It is my first ever First Person Narrative (which was interesting to write) :)

Blurb: Sylvia Tana Silverwind's parents, Jordan and Kristoph take it upon themselves to find an antidote for easing heat cycles and decide to test it on their daughter. Their motive is to save and protect her from herself as it was nearly impossible to find her rightful mate during the first heat. It was a cruel thing for their goddess to do to her own kin, but be it as it may, life back then was just that. The after effects of their efforts had rippled in time, ruining life as they knew it until one day a selfless omega rose to the challenge to attempt to right the wrong done to all werewolf kind. Setting: This is a fantasy adventure story where werewolves need to find the trinity within themselves and match up with their mates to be truly balanced. All designations have three beings within them. Their werewolf form is built up of their human form, wolf form, and designation, regardless of Alpha, Beta or Omega. All three of these have to work in harmony to be able to harness the true form of their werewolf which is how they can find their mates as goddess Selene had initially created. Except, one werewolf changes this, creating a raging ripple effect, making it nearly impossible to find their mates, sending their kind into devastation that can only be undone by one of Selene’s daughters, but she doesn't know it yet.

Working on Publishing Original Fics Through Stary Writing

So it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything here. I honestly couldn’t remember my log in and those magic links would only take me so far. I currently still have my original LostInQueue account floating around here somewhere, the log in info hopefully somewhere in the archives of my settings on an old phone that I can only hope will get a charge to find it, but that’s besides the point. I’m writing to let you all know that I have been working on original fics and still dabbling in fanfiction. Rest assured, I will never lose sight of the amazing people that have encouraged me over the last two years of my writing journey. You know who you are. I will forever be grateful and want you to know that. For those of you who have followed me in my journey on Ao3, I have decided to take down and redo Rey’s Mechanics. For something that was a jewel to behold two years ago in my writing career, I’ve had a moment to really look at it and see my own growth. It was hard to read, choppy, and needed heavy edits to be believable. It is still free to read and I am simply challenging myself to update it here daily. I am currently at 18 episodes published. Chapter 19 will air today at 10:00am EST and have up to chapter 30 scheduled to publish daily, which currently puts updates ready daily for the duration of now until the 15th. The chapters are far shorter than what we are used to in fanfiction and I believe it has something to do with the way they run their site, if down the road it can be applied for their pay-per-chapter program. This post is really to get the message out there that I am still writing, that I do plan on still working on fanfiction and have projects in the wings as well as ones that I plan on completing and have completed as of last month. The next few posts will dive further into what projects I have been up to and where I am looking to go from here. I hope to see you around and get your thoughts on these projects. And as always, I’m around for brainstorming on your own ideas entirely to help you all as you have helped me. Love you all <3

She’d wondered to herself once whether he thought of her the same way, her silent musings coming to him through the Bond as easily as though she whispered them in his ear. He’d told her that he did, thinking her description so perfect for what he saw when he turned to look for her.

Rey was the glittering center of his whole universe.

LostInQueue is an AMAZING artist, and not only did she put so much thought into each detail I asked for, she blew my mind with how intricately and accurately she wove together the elements of the story…even aspects that I hadn’t mentioned to her! So much love & many hugs for bringing my Ben & Rey to life ~ ♥

P.S. If you’re familiar with the story, you might just recognize which scene from Chapter X: Like Strands of Starlight inspired this piece!

Ooookay... so I keep seeing these A/B/O type stories in my facebook feed and decided to give one a try. I had to stop half way through, not only because of grammatical errors (because, come on, we all start somewhere) but because it seemed that even the author was having trouble remembering who their own characters were and what they were meant to do.

I get it. I do. I’ve stopped so many stories and started up again, only to confuse myself and have to go back and read it— hash it out, look for inspiring music to really build the characters and backgrounds again... so I’m not knocking this person at all. In fact, I’m thanking them. If it weren’t for them, I probably wouldn’t have had the nerve to start my own original A/B/O.

Albeit my cover is totally unclear, and I could totally use help with that given my time constraints, and my title is suuuuper simple and to the point, I’ve never been so pleased with a work that wasn’t fanfiction.

To all of you that have inspired me to be more in the writing world, you know who you are, and thank you. You truly are my favorite people.

Without further ado, I give you:

The first chapter is up. The second is scheduled for laaater this evening like closer to 12am EST because I’m silly and posted the first one that late.

The third is being worked on and while most of the first two chapters are in he/she mode, the book will turn to first person while the main character battles through her own adventure.

Like I said, it is A/B/O and goes through some intense historical themes in an alternate universe. A few things to mention are the usage of experimental medicine to slow heats, the effect of not finding their true mate before the heat happens, changes in important historical characters, sexual content for power, mild mentions to genocide all to build up the background of what the main character, Vivian will have to face to try to make things right.

I’m hoping to move through this as I’ve found the happy medium of exhausting my kids outside and working through mealtimes to get adequate time to write at night. Here’s to hoping that stays true through the summer!

Ok truth be told I really didn’t realize that this title could be off putting to some based on what it means, so I apologize if it’s keeping anyone from checking it out. In gamer terms, pulled entirely from my days playing World of Warcraft and reading the gen (or general) chat. Players could spout anything they wanted to there, most of the time it was looking for groups to help with quests (which guys there’s a different channel for that and now with all the changes - pff - group finding is a breeze), trolls, yo mama jokes, the list goes on. Triggering someone was a successful troll who got someone to over elaborate or use their ALL CAPS through the entire conversation to get them to stop.

Just a note? It never works.

In this story we’re diving into screwing with Kylo_Ren for the sake of Rey’s sanity and sleep because her roommates won’t stop shouting until she does something about it. It’s meant to be part crack fic with Rose’s makeup applications and how Rey eventually forms a bond with Kylo online.
