Cardverse: A Case Study (that really isn't one.)

Hello gaymers and happy new year! Today we will be revisiting an old official au called Cardverse. Keep in mind that this is going to be an entirely different version of it rather than canon Cardverse, and 90% of it will be just my sorry behind rambling about the wonders and glories of political relations and why IT SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS GO.

🔶Kingdom of Diamonds🔶

Ruler: Our Majesty Francis Bonnefoy, King/Queen of Diamonds; Beside him Prime Minister Erika Vogel and Royal Financial Advisor Vasch Zwingli (spelt his name wrong ik.)

The Kingdom of Diamonds; one of the wealthiest kingdoms in the land with a very turbulent history. Centuries ago, the king and queen upheld the most power (aside from Lords and Aristocrats). This imbalance of power would spark a revolt that would last for decades until a new form of government was put into place. (Not really.)

The Kingdom of Diamonds lies South, known for their very warm climates which contribute to their bountiful crops. They are responsible for 75% of the food distribution to other neighboring kingdoms. They are sometimes subsequently referred to as the "Brighter South" due to the amount of sunshine that contributes to their warm climate. However, they are often hindered by bad storms and monsoons from June until November.

While still under a monarchy, the Diamonds kingdom has it's own prime minister that keeps everything and everyone in check, this includes the king (or queen). Erika and Vasch act as some sort of caretaker for Francis, making sure that he's safe and not frivolously spending his inheritance on useless things such as new land, etc. Some have said that the King/Queen is too incompetent to be ruling a kingdom due to several factors: His emotional sensitivity, him being a people pleaser, and his overly flamboyant nature. Other has praised the king in his efforts in helping improve the lives of his people and his kind nature.

♠️The United Spades♠️

Ruler: Commander in Chief and President Alfred F. Jones; beside him Vice President Arthur Kirkland, and Secretary of State Chun-Yan Wang

From a small monarchy to one of the largest democracies in the land, The United Spades (actual name The United Spades of Aces) holds a lot of power than one may know.

They reside North, having to deal with several harsh winters. The Spades Kingdom has many various industrial sites. Unfortunately because of this, it is said to be the kingdom with the highest recorded rate of pollution.

The birth of the Spade's democracy still remains under debate by some historians. Some may have suggested it had ended after the death of the President's mother, who was said to be the last Queen of what once was the Kingdom of Spades. Others may have concluded that it emerged at the end of some sort of civil war; though these events had coincided with each other. Despite these events, the Spades are relatively young.

While he holds much authority over everyone, Alfred does struggle to keep many things in check; some praise him for his hard work while others criticize him for hurting some aspect of his community.

Ruler: Queen S̶͕̯̳͇̰͉̬̻̈́̃̿̈́͌̎͝ä̵̡̡͉̮̦̼̻̬̦̭́̄̓͝ḱ̸̛̜͉̀͑̆̊̈̚͠ų̵̠̤͚̥̻̀͗̋̌͋̇̌̏͋̍r̷͇̫̱̩̗̥̺̋̀͜͝a̵̢͕̯̙̓͐̔̓ ̶͇̜̯͍͍̥̩̟̹̣͗̀͛̔̍͑̈̕H̵̢͖͖͊͘ö̷̡̤̱̟̬̗̲́̆͂̾̇̊̚͠ń̶̢̧̠̓̂̚͜d̵̘͚̟̲̮͙͚̮͚̃́͛͋͒͐̄a̵̢͕͔̜̙͂̈́͌̅̈́͜ Lucrezia Vargas and King Ludwig Beilschmidt of the Hearts Kingdom.

The Hearts Kingdom resides in the western portion of the lands, also known as the "Western Kingdom" or "The Wild West". Much like the Empire of Clubs, they have a very fair climate. Average to the point where there is not much to comment on.

Not much is known about the Heart's Kingdom or what it's known for. It is rumored that the current queen isn't the real queen, and that something must've happened behind closed doors. Despite Ludwig being king and having the same amount of power, Lucrezia has the most authority over everybody. There is something about her that'll give you an aching feeling in your gut. But who is Sakura?

♣️The Empire of Clubs♣️

Ruler: Emperor Ivan Braginsky and Empress Elizabeta Hedevary and Jack of all trades Clubs Roderich Edelstein

The Empire of Clubs lies just to the east, majority of its territory landlocked by mountains and valleys. It's a place where not much goes on, not even among the monarchs who hold the power of the world within their hands. Some travelers from other kingdoms will return with how reserved most of the people are, giving them this quiet reputation.

Although quiet, they are well known for their clean environment and vast green valleys. Because of this they have a very diverse ecosystem and dedicate their fundings to preserving the homes of many species whether by land or by sea. It is even rumored that Ivan has a giant pet polar that was stolen from a neighboring kingdom elsewhere. Although due to the privacy of the royals, this cannot be confirmed nor denied.

Hey everyone. I normally don’t make posts like this and rather not do them often but just thought you know.

Yes, I was impacted by Hurricane Milton. As of right now we are still in the dark and power hasn’t been fully yet restored to our neighborhood, nor do we have running water for right now. Even at night it is still very hot so it’s hard to fall asleep or even get comfortable.

Am I safe? Yes. Me and my family are doing okay, just fairing out while we figure out the situation. We have plenty of food and bottled water and other drinks to keep ourselves nourished while we deal with this.

There won’t be any posts for a few days until this all improves, I know guys it’s very sad.

I had a huge post discussing the Hundred Years War timeline planned and in the making, but hurricane preparations and the power outage have hindered my time from being able to work on it more.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support. In the mean time if I may? I could share maybe some headcanons from time to time until the situation improves.

May I introduce you all to some fantasy au :0

The hurricane might’ve altered my brain chemistry because yesterday I thought of forest nymph!france x naga!england, and immediately got to work on coming up with a basic concept of it!

I even included Mattie and Al, their supposed offsprings in which they are mixed breeds of nagas and nymphs who I dubbed “nymphagas”. I haven’t gotten this whole thing nailed down but I like to think they are reptilian creatures that spend their time in the trees and in the water.

Francis is a forest nymph who took care of the nature in the enchanted forest. He’s homeless, but he doesn’t mind it as he sees the forest as his home no matter where he went. He takes care of the small animals that lurk around him, including other mythical beings such as fairies and pixies (although the pixies do give him a tough time for how malicious they can be sometimes.) Francis considers himself a pescatarian, meaning he consumes plants and fish only. While he sometimes does hunt for fish, he relies on the herbs, fruits and vegetables around him.

Arthur is a naga who resides in the heart of said forest and he lives in an underground den. He’s kind of a hoarder and his den is full of trinkets and treasures that he likely stole from the village. Though the most valuable of them all was a giant pearl he went on a perilous journey to find. He believed who ever accept his pearl will be his lover forever, which happened to be Francis; who had a lot of shiny things on his outfit. He was harmless for the post part, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t carnivorous. While Arthur consumes small animals such as birds and rodents, he doesn’t eat larger animals nor humans.

He and Francis met near the springs one day and eventually settled down once they got to know each other. Francis offered to cook for Arthur so he would help him get used to his change in diet. He even taught him how to properly eat as well as using some utensils he had brought with him. In return, Arthur taught Francis archery, which helped him improve his hunting skills. There was one thing they both had in common: their love for each other. Eventually, the underground den became Francis’ permanent home.

One day, the two of them had twins; Alfred and Matthew. They spend most of their time hunting in the forest as well as exploring places their parents haven’t been too. Alfred is known to be a trickster, while Matthew was more timid and tended to stay out of trouble.

Greetings my winged anon, I apologize for the delay in response as I’m currently making final preparations for a hurricane heading this way.

And thank you!! I’m glad you enjoy my works.

Anywho, it was around May/June 2016 when I first discovered Hetalia. I was going around KissAnime trying to find a new series to get into, and Hetalia had caught my eyes. I think it was mainly because it rhymed with my dead name so I decided to see for myself. And ever since that day I was never the same again.

Now, would I consider myself a fandom veteran? No, by the time the fandom was big I would still be in elementary school (or primary school if you’re in the UK). Though I still remember old Hetalia memes still floating around, the MMD’s people would make using audio from Vine and other pieces of media. Good and bad times…

It wouldn’t be a month later when I started getting into FRUK. Through out high school and at the beginning of this year I did ran a few ask blogs, but it never really went anywhere. I lost track of how many I had, but hopefully I can stick with this one for now. At the time I was mainly inspired by a certain artist to start up my own ask blog. I run quite a few. This one is where I post my fruk content. And @shiptalia-sea-of-stars , my main blog where I post about my Hetalia ocs. (please check it out im begging you.)

I am thinking of starting up a cosplay blog, but we’ll see how things go then.

I can’t recall what exactly drew me to FRUK, but their dynamic is just so interesting and fun to experiment with. No matter how you portray them or what AU you put them in, it always works. I think the same could be said for other Hetalia ships.

Also APH France may or may not have been responsible for altering my brain chemistry.

At the ripe age of 21 (going on 22), I still listen to Marukaite Chikyuu for nostalgia purposes and had recently binged watched seasons 1-2 again. Times were so different then. I’m not ashamed to admit that years later im still into Hetalia, at least on here. I probably would’ve lied to you if you were to meet me in the real world.
