btw even if your pain is “your fault” that doesn’t mean you deserve it.

i walked my dog yesterday knowing it would hurt today and it does hurt!! a lot!! but that doesn’t mean i deserve to be in pain like i am.

sometimes we know shit is gonna hurt us and it does and it doesn’t mean we’re stupid or deserving of that hurt. the same is true if we don’t realize it at the time, but realize later that the pain we’re in is in some way “caused” by our actions. none of us deserve to be in pain, no matter what.

please try to cut yourself a bit of slack about this stuff. let yourself rest. take the painkillers. treat yourself gently. i promise you deserve it.

there’s something so admirable and poetic about girls on here who are obsessed with hockey men. like you took the sport with the least face visibility and most indiscriminate injuries by sharp hard objects and you thought this too is poetry. even blonde men with weird beards and no teeth can feel love

her name was Marsha P Johnson, and we have her to thank for so much.

remember, the first Pride was a riot, and she was one of the brave souls who endured it to help carve the path which so many of us walk today. she helped found several activist groups regarding LGBT safety and wellbeing. and she was absolutely radiant, too.

its beyond insane that israel has bombed rafah over sixty times in the last 48 hours since the icj ruling. the videos of the tent refugee camp in rafah today are making me so sad/angry. beyond my ability to say anything that isnt already known
