Hey, can we stop putting coquette girlrot type posts in the dollblr tag? That tag was intended for actual doll posts. And some of these girlrot posts can actually be kind of triggering.

There are plenty of tags for you there that you're already using - dollette, coquette, girlrot, this is what makes us girls, whatever. Please leave this one alone.

I've always wanted to customize Blythe, ever since I was about 18 and This is Blythe was a legitimate site. It was just never an accessible hobby for me - the price was out of my range and the thought of carving into something like that with no experience? No way.

Enter the "factory" fake. The TBL. The aliexpress girls. The perfect vehicle to practice on. I don't think I did half bad. She's got carved lips and nose, a custom set of eye chips (that I bought, I didn't make them), a gaze correction and sleep eyes and, obviously, a repainted face. I plan to do more, but she's a project I sink a little into at a time.

I rerooted my Dreamtopia Tori, because poly is gross. I wasn't going for a totally accurate match, I just wanted similar purples that I liked, so I used Cosmic Wind and Enchantress from Shimmerlocks. I also wanted to give a nod to the mold's original doll and tried to give her GG Tori's wrap around pigtails, but my styling skills are already questionable and when you add in slippery nylon it's a no go.

She's on the curvy floral pants mtm and she's wearing pieces from the Roxy fashion packs. Except the choker, I can't remember where that's from. It's from fashionista #111.

Her lip paint does have a flaw, but I don't have any pearlescent paint to fix it atm.

I put my pink Odile on Teen Skipper's body, because she really has a face that screams Skipper to me. Like if Steffie was Barbie, Odile would be her Skipper.

I'd rather have a nicer match than articulation, because I'm terrible at posing anyway and this match is really nice. Maybe a hair off with the face being a tiny tiny bit darker.

I rerooted her with White Platinum 25 and Chatty Glassine 85 saran from RestoreDoll to try to emulate those lowlights 90s Teen Skipper had.

In a tale as old as time, the colors look nicer on my monitor than they do on my phone. But anyways, here's my girl Ghoulia - she was the first MH doll I really really wanted.

A while back I had a lot going on and I deleted all of my socials - you know how it goes. I felt it was time to re-establish a doll/toy/customization blog, though, so here I am.

I used to be pootiepoupee, these were a few of my more popular customs (along with some personal favorites for good measure).

Recently I've focused more on collecting, but I'd like to start customizing more again. Maybe having this space will motivate me to do that.
