I used to hate being alone because I didn't want to be left with my thoughts. Now I crave the time I get to spend by myself when I don't get enough.

Letting go is one of the hardest things a person can do. Next to that, letting go and being happy for the one that's now gone.

I hold no hate

I would never allow myself to resent your pursuit of happiness

Am I sad you're gone?

Absolutely

Am I sad to see you happier?

Absolutely not

You deserve the world and so much more

I'm thankful you found a home in someone

But I can still be sad that it isn't me

Life is funny that way

In order for us to be happy we have to loose the people we loved the most, even if it was only for a short time

I'm thankful for being a part of that journey

I only wish our story could continue

But I worry that will never be the case
