My roomie and I got inspired watching Truegreen7's fakemon challenges, so we decided to try one of the prompts and each made a fakemon loosely inspired by an oxymoron.

I chose Lightweight, and while I was originally gonna go with some party balloon with a weighted foil body and balloon-tipped tail, I ended gravitating more towards buoy and anchor ideas until I landed on sea mines! And I figured that if I went for a weapon, what better sea creature than a Man O War to base it off of?

So I made Mynowar (pronounced mine-o-war), gave it a custom ability, etc. etc. I thought it was pretty cute for my first ever attempt at a fakemon lol. Anyway, enjoy!

Working on more examples of full teams now adapted to closer match the style of how I draw Pokemon, my bestie was kind enough to lend me one of her OCs so I could have an example of a furry trainer in my gallery... even though he has no fur 🤣🤣🤣

Aaaaand a halfbody team! Just to adapt this one better to my style, too. Still needs work, but it's getting there, little by little.

This time, it's my new Team Aqua admin OC. Doesn't have a name yet, but his team is all water shooter themed. :> Pew pew!

Once again, I'm trying to adapt my style of drawing people to be much simpler and closer to the style in which I draw Pokémon. Still needs work, but I think the trainer, in this case, looks a lot more cohesive to the Pokémon than my previous team pieces from years ago. So… progress, I think!

It's been, like, three years since I've drawn a team. And I really only did this one to see if it was possible for me to draw a chibified team. Which it... sort'a worked. Kind'a. Most of them still just look like shrunken Pokemon and not chibis, but hey, I tried.
