So my first year at University is almost over, and I've hardly done any clay charms all year!! :(

I've been working on small commissions here and there, but i've not been focusing on my Etsy shop at all.

Once the next couple of weeks are over, i'm very excited to start getting putting myself back into my work properly and resume booking myself into markets!

It's been a while!

I've been so busy with Uni and settling into my new flat that i've hardly had time to clay.

However, i've just been offered a stand in a shop as soon as i'm able to build up stock. Hopefully if any of you live around the Stockport area, my charms will be available to buy in a store!

Time to get practicing and show you all what i'm up to :)

I've got as far as i'm going to get tonight, i've had the added pressure of getting these perfect as they're for my flatmate's best friends!

The middle character will have a stripy jacket painted on after baking and they'll all have their faces painted on. These were quite difficult! They look much better in person though, so hopefully they'll love them :)

Having a crazy evening! I have a commission for 3 personal characters due tomorrow and i'm at this point. eek. I left their clothes until last and still have to tidy them up, but really I should have done them first because now the hair is done and I can't get the jackets and stuff underneath. :/ I keep getting distracted and playing around with other bit of clay that i've never tried out before. I have a few bunches of grapes and glow in the dark balloon animal charms!

I had a lot of fun making this little guy for my flatmate's birthday!

It's a sloth ring, designed so that the sloth hugs your finger.

I've never made anything like this before so I need a little bit of practice, but it turned out really well for a first time difficult piece. I didn't have many good photographs of sloths to work from :(

She loves it too which is all that matters!

I've been working on some personalised character charms, working on myself and my flatmates. These have been so much fun to make! They've now taken residency on our hallway noticeboard until the end of the year. What a lovely way to get back into claying.
