*Hello, my name is Lama, and I’m from Gaza City. 🇵🇸*

I’m reaching out during one of the most painful and terrifying times of my life. We were recently forced to flee our destroyed home once again due to the ground invasion. As we were escaping, my younger brother was shot by a drone. 💔

Now, I carry the burden of caring for my injured brother and my entire family — trying to secure food 🍞, medicine 💊, and basic needs 👕 just to survive.

But survival itself is slipping away.

We are facing *death from hunger.* Famine has taken over Gaza. We often go *days* without a proper meal — just a few bites to survive, if anything at all. Our bodies are weak, and the fear never stops. 😞

I never imagined I’d have to beg for help like this. But I am desperate. Even the smallest donation could mean food for today or medicine for my brother. 💫

Since October 2023, Ahmed Najar's family has been displaced 7 times under Israeli bombardment in Gaza. His mother is disabled; she cannot walk.

Each time they were forced to flee, they moved her using a donkey. Because Israel bombed the roads, destroyed vehicles, and cut off fuel, that donkey was their only lifeline.

Now Israeli soldiers are entering Gaza and taking the donkeys. Flying them out to France. Rescuing them to sanctuaries inside Israel. Loading them into trucks, while families that depended on them are left behind, starving and under siege.

"To rescue a donkey while denying a human being water is not mercy – it is a message. That your suffering is invisible. That your life is disposable. That even your beasts of burden are worth more than you.

What kind of state uses animal rights as a PR tool while carrying out what has been widely described by human rights organizations and experts as genocidal attacks on the very people those animals once served?" said Ahmed Najar.

A public performance of morality while people rot under rubble. While children die of dehydration. While the wounded lie untreated. Donkeys are airlifted to safety. Palestinians are left to die in tents.

And when Israel takes them away under the banner of "rescue," it is definitely not offering mercy but tightening the noose.

Grotesque, deliberate, and done without a trace of shame.

So this one was rich kid ace and contract killer Isuka. This one is also just planned out and not written yet.

Essentially Isuka and Ace went to the same high school. Isuka was working towards making fencing her career, and was Draw’s adoptive daughter. Draw was a police officer whose corruption comes to light in her last year of high school. After his arrest she disappears and ends up in her current job to survive and pay off Draw’s massive debts to some shady people. Ace was being raised by a family friend whilst in school, around the time of Draw’s arrest and Isuka’s disappearance his father makes a reappearance in his life. He’s not at school or in the area when the whole Draw thing goes down and Isuka, alright she doesn’t blame him, probably thinks her life would’ve been different had Ace been with her that day.

Anyway in the present Ace lives with his dad (his mum is alive in this story) and currently set to take over the company when his dad retires. He isn’t without enemies and one of them hires Isuka to kill Ace.

She attends a party as a plus one, with the intention of killing him then, but he discovers her identity. She’s unable to kill him and end up leaving. This pushes Ace to find out what happened to her and why he didn’t see her again.

I have sooo many esuka drafts and this was one I really wanted to complete but alas uni was not it last year, but now that summer is here maybe i will! Thanks for requesting this one!!

Hiii! I’m great :))) (uni is finally over and I can enjoy the summer!!) hope you’re doing good too! Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply I’ve suddenly become busy for some reason.

So I’m lowkey slight tipsy rn (but also this fic was not a sober thought) (I do not recommend writing tipsy I wake up to the most nonsensical bs ever) so if something doesn’t make sense let me know I’ll edit it 😭😭

So my uni love life has been very non existent (fiction has lied to me) and I was talking to a friend about this who was like then just write about your faves and I was like omg yes esuka med student (because I’m a very boring med student with no love life) rivals to lovers omggg

So this fic like the other non sober thoughts is very much just a blob of nearly formed plot. So it’s essentially esuka rivals at med schools until they get to their very first jobs (which surprise they’re placed at the same hospital) and I guess ace realises he actually liked her and she likes him. I actually need to think this one out (sober)

But clarity because he realises he needs to stop denying his actual feelings.
