Monster Factory from Tucker Bliss on Vimeo.
In the small town of Paulsboro, New Jersey the religion is pro-wrestling and it's temple is The Monster Factory. Over the past 30 years, pilgrims of all creeds, colors, shapes and sizes have made their way to this modest, repurposed high school gym, eager to escape the realities of their normal lives to pursue a place within a world of entertainment largely dismissed as fake. Despite what you may believe, one thing is certain - when it comes to the no bullshit, get-it-done training style of owner / head coach Danny 'Cage', you can't fake the blood, sweat, tears, and focus it takes to make dreams come true.

THE TIME TRAVELERS. from gnarly bay on Vimeo.
In January 2017, the USA Men’s Rafting Team set their sights on making history by attempting to break a legendary speed record down 277 miles of the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. Their goal was 34 hours. 34 hours…straight.
Throughout 2016, we sporadically followed these scrappy, determined guys on their quest…training hard, designing their custom boat, and gaining perspective on what it means to attempt something extraordinary on one of the world’s most breathtaking stages.
The film is a collaboration with Forest Woodward and Brendan Leonard....and would not have been possible without their important contributions of images, words, guidance, energy, feedback, and Yelp-worthy restaurant knowledge.
The film was supported by Chacos Footwear in association with REI + YETI + NRS + Jack's Plastic Welding + Cataract Oars.

1976 from Alex Mikhaylov on Vimeo.
1976 meditates on presentiment and sound. The surreal short crafts an unsettling atmosphere of foreshadowing and immanent change. A clever combination of live footage and CGI, the film allows its soundtrack to drive the visuals. Everyday objects reverberate, twist and react to an oncoming pulse of events as they converge on a farmhouse lost in rural America. A film by Aggressive, The Loop & Echoic. Narrative Short Jury Award Winner - 2015 SXSW Official Selection - 2015 Sundance Film Festival
Press:
"Mohan continues to be an undiscovered gem whose sense for the emotional ebb and flow of my generation is matched only by subtle but powerful aesthetics. Never has the emotional power of California desert silence been better conveyed. Hopefully, we’ll see a new feature from Mohan at an upcoming Sundance." – Departures Magazine
"Mohan combines the developments of a playfully vulgar sex comedy with something far more astute — a genuine look at the countless ambiguities that define relationships and leave their future developments up in the air." – Eric Kohn, Indiewire

Shanghai Forever from JT Singh on Vimeo.
Urbanist and media artist JT Singh has captured the vibrance and massive scale of Shanghai’s skyline, streets, and infrastructure through a series of experimental projects viewed by millions (This is Shanghai, Walk in Shanghai, etc); hence, contributing greatly to the city's growing global status. With this new film, he turns to the Shanghai of its residents, the lives that revolve not around the city’s 4000 skyscrapers, but around the simpler ways of living, the local charm, and the familiar corner.
Amid the chaos of millions of people living and working with one another, the rich textures and smells, the voices and faces young and old, and the signs of tradition and change dwell behind each door and around each corner. With JT's riveting visual storytelling, viewers experience a series of impressions around historic shikkumen neighbourhoods, which foster a network of real-life experiences, memories, and encounters with locals, which are the tender heart keeping the city alive and charming to live in. Shanghai’s iconic skyline is symbolic of its presence as a premier global city, but below the towers, the intimate, and human story that unfolds is what will always be part of the city’s core DNA.
