(Ask box open)Just a little caboose living along the tracks. CB’s the name, Cinnamon Badger the call sign. He/Him pronouns Don’t ask my age, just know I’m an adult and don’t ask weird details, I’m not telling.

Hello CB! I hope that you feel better soon! Sending you online flowers 💐💐💐💐 From @postal-patricia
I appreciate the sentiment and digital flowers Patricia.
I’ll be alright soon, I’m just frustrated with myself. I’m sure you understand the feeling.

Basically been watching random documentaries and sleeping all day, it’s all Dinah will let me do until the pain subsides enough for me to walk unassisted.
I know I have to rest, the repair shed said I flared up this badly because I didn’t allow myself to rest, but it’s just so frustrating to be unable to do anything!
It also feels like the others are being too kind…
Typing this without it turning to morse code is actually kind of difficult right now.

Dustin spent some time with me so Dinah could have some time to herself.
I love my son so much.
I don’t want him to be worried about me but I could tell he is. Flat top looked worried too.
I don’t like making my boys sad.

Okay but how bad exactly is it to have a favorite rail disaster. I feel like I should not have a favorite rail disaster. Why do I have a favorite rail disaster
I personally don’t find it ‘bad’ at all, like having a favourite “true crime” case. It is however subjective and I have been told some humans feel a bit weird about the subject.
I personally find the Lac-Mégantic rail disaster to be quite interesting even though it was a tragedy for the community it occurred in.
If I may ask what rail disaster would you be referring to? I could use the distraction right now.

Dinah gave me my phone back, said i looked bored as hell.
Auto correct is worked overtime from the medication I’m on and laying down position making typing difficult.
I’m back though.

Hey, William again.
As of a few hours ago CB has been sent back to his shed, Dinah had this weeks’s schedule cleared(by her insistence) so she can care for him while he’s bed bound for the next few days.
For anyone concerned about what happened, he has a chronic pain condition from when his back couplers had to be removed. Control doesn’t want us going into too much detail without CB’s consent but his back can cause him serious pain if he’s not careful and is pushed to work too hard. The repair shed thinks this is what happened so he’s pretty heavily sedated for now and will be under pretty strict supervision for the next few days.
Us humans are simply keeping things on track, if you don’t mind the pun, while the locomotives re-familiarize themselves with the ETD/FRED signals.
The Amphitrite yard thanks you for your patience and understanding.

Hello everyone, this is William, CB’s second conductor. I just wanted to let everyone know he will not be available today and potentially tomorrow due to that malfunction he suffered yesterday.
He is safe now, just undergoing some maintenance he’d been putting off for the issue and will be back in a few days. Any questions about his current condition will be answered by myself or Sophia at our nearest convenience.
We, at the Amphitrite yard, appreciate your cooperation at this time.

Hi, Sophia here.
I am aware of CB’s distress signal currently blaring, I had to try and find one of the repair trucks to help me move him as he is rolling stock and I am human.
We at the Amphitrite yard ask that everyone remain calm while we try and assess the situation.

I don’t know what’s going on with the multiverse I get to observe but I’m off working and taking care of a trainlet for 24 hours and it feels like missing 3 seasons of exposition in those tv dramas Flat top watches.
I don’t even know if I want context.
On a completely unrelated note Elvis face planted trying to flirt with Electron on in the training grounds yesterday and I think I have insomnia.

I’m probably just tired but how do I convince my foster daughter that I don’t really need help in the kitchen this morning?
I appreciate the help but she’s got very little, uncoordinated front couplers that grip too hard and can’t really hold ingredients very well yet.
#cb on air#cb the red caboose#stex rp#she can’t really read yet so reading me the recipe won’t work.#sophia wanted me to post so it wasn’t complete radio silence

Man. Rail disasters as a special interest suck
It kinda does in a sense, a specially if you’re accident prone or anxious in any way but the Why, When, How and Who are absolutely facilitating at times!
For a human comparison I’d say it’s similar to having a special interest on freak accidents, torture or serial killers. Fascinating stuff but not the most comforting to read late at night or before work.
