hello dear audience, as your host today i will be explaining the dynamic or whatever the word is for Dazai and Chuuya's relationship. a lot of brain cells were put into this and this is coming from a Dazai kinnie but correct me if I'm ever wrong.

im far too lazy to type out a whole essay of the bunch of things i have to say for the two of them because they're relationship is more than just normal friends because honestly, who would go so far to put their lives in another's hands.

okayokay ill do a quick explanation. like Dazai said to Mori -- "is there really any value to this thing we call living?" -- you can already tell that hes suicidal and hes not joking about wanting to die. for 14/15 years of his life, Dazai couldn't find a reason to keep on living, yet after meeting Chuuya for just a few short days, he decided to give living a try. honestly, if you have ideas about ending your life, i dont see how meeting a new friend would give him a reason to live. im bad with feelings so ill just say that if you wanted to end your life and you gave that all up after meeting someone for a short period of time, thats something special right there.
