You will hold the world in your hands. The power to control empires and gods alike. Millions of lives will rest upon your shoulders. Yet your life and the lives of those you care about will be out of your control. This is your destiny.

How can you promise a forever when even the world will eventually become dust?
How can you be with me when even the heavens try to keep us apart?
Separated by oceans, mountains, and wars,
Only our hearts align, gazes never meeting.

Halloween
Fallen leaves rustling under superheroes and monsters.
Children’s laughter drifting in the wind.
I walk among bunnies, ghouls, and fairies,
Looking for my next treat.
Eyes wide and arms clutching my mother,
I marvel at the holiday unlike any of my own.
Three words I learned only minutes prior tumbling out of my mouth
Like spiders scurrying away from the supernatural creatures that roam the world tonight.
We walk along the streets I know so well,
People of all cultures and languages, connected by a holiday unlike any of our own.
We partake in a tradition that tells us we made it.
It tells us what it means to be an American,
To find joy in horror and dissenting madness,
And most importantly, how to convince my mother to let me have more candy than any one child should.

Untitled 9/14/20
we made a promise to love forever lasting
two hearts under the old plum tree
and as the rivers filled with blood
and spring turned to winter
lifeless bodies strewn around
our hearts remained all the same
and as the rivers dried up
and seasons merged
flowers blooming once again
our hearts remained all the same
and as your body was laid for its final rest
and only I remained in rememberace
our hearts remained all the same

I think I'm a pretty peaceful guy, not really one for violence. But if you touch what's mine. You just might not survive.

A Poem For The Lonely
Billions of stars loom above us.
Breathtakingly bright,
They spell the beginnings and ends of everything.
Stardust connecting us to the vacuum above and all else in this universe.
Earth hurling around seemingly aimless
Protected and guided by its giant brothers,
safe from cosmic objects
that destroy all in their path.
And in the middle of it,
a species unlikely to exist.
And you,
Made of stars and dreams
and wandering around seemingly aimless,
Nurtured and loved by your covenant brothers,
looking up at the stars above.
And they watch on as generations live and die,
Repeating this cycle over and over again.

I will take what is most important to you and crush it!
Sorry to disappoint, but the most important thing to me is long gone. I killed it.

My life is yours to take, because when I needed it most you saved me.
I will devote my body and soul to you, who mended both.
We were star crossed lovers. Doomed to have a tragic end.
And as the world crashed and burned around us, I could not help but find peace in knowing that I would be going home soon. Home to my beloved.

Questions - May 6th, 2020
I sometimes wonder what you would say to me if you were here.
Would you apologize for the broken promises?
We knew forever wouldn't last in this mortal world,
But even so, you said you'd stay.
I wonder, too, what I would say if you were here.
Would I ask if you're happy now?
Away from all that pain.
Or would I just cry the way I have after you left?
Would you even remember me?
Or would I be the only one who remembers the memories we shared?
Still, I am glad your suffering is over now.
Back then, I could not share your pain,
But now I bear it all alone.
And though it hurts to think of you,
I cannot help but smile at our memories.

Lady Death - April 17th, 2020
Lady death
Dressed in white
Holds her scythe
Down at her knees
She came for the due
Of a young girl with pearly skin
Listening to the silent plea
Of the child turning blue
Saying goodbye to her kin
Grieving for the moments lost
She took flight
Lady death
Dressed in white
Holds her scythe
Down at her knees
She whispered a soft apology
To the child turning blue
As the cold, barren winter night took yet another soul
For the reaping

you know what’s pretty cool? fanfic writers and fanfic in general. not only is it free, anyone can get involved and share and be creative. it’s such an exciting outlet and i’m so proud of all you fanfic writers and readers out there.
another thing that’s pretty damn awesome is how amazing of writers a lot of you are. we might not have fancy editors or publishers or whatever, but we have betas or friends or just plain grammarly to help us out and you know what? i’ve read plenty of fics that i thought we’re better than books.
you know that AU you wrote? that story is your own. you might have used character names and maybe their background info, but you created a story different than the one given to us. i love y’all.
you know that canon compliant story or that story set in the same universe you wrote? hell yeah, we wish that we had that content in the original. fucking kudos.
all the one shots, multi chapters, freaking series, all of it. crack and all, it’s so impressive. you all deserve more applause and appreciation, but know as an avid writer and reader, keep on doing what you’re doing. you are so appreciated and so loved. thank you!

Naturally - Dec 3rd, 2019
A soft summer evening.
The glowing sun slowly falling,
Painting the sky in hues of orange and gold
As the purple and black night takes its place.
A quite winter night.
The soft snow covering the ground,
Sparkling under the welcoming darkness
As a crisp wind howls about the dead and sleeping.
A bustling spring morning.
The chirping of birds above the greenery,
Resonating throughout the blooming trees
As the loving woods welcome back the sleeping.
A peaceful autumn day.
The rustling of colorful leaves heard,
Leaving the forest floor ridden with vibrance
As they say their farewell to the bodies that served them so well.
