Some melusines got really into horoscopes and wanted to know what his constellation was so they could read his; he told them Leviathan bc he thought it would be embarrassing to tell them his constellation was "Neuvillette"

IVE JUST HAD A HORRIBLE IDEA THAT MIGHT BE TRUE IN GENSHIN

Okay, so in canon, Neuvillette's name is actually his sir name, and, as of writing this, NO ONE KNOWS IS FIRST NAME!

So, me being a funky little bitch, started playing around in my head of what his first name would actually be, and took ideas and inspiration of how the Archons have the names of demons, and the thought of his first name being Leviathan, while makes sense, is already a part of his constellation (Leviathan Judicator), so that must be out.

Then I started thinking of other, granted not demon, names associated with the sea. There's Poseidon, which does kinda sound cool, but other than the whole sea and water thing, they have no connection.

But THEN I remembered that I'm kinda into the Lovecraftian horror gods and remembered that his most famous and well-known monster is FUCKING CHTHULU!

AND I JUST CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF NEUVILLETTE'S FIRST NAME BEING CHTHULU OR SOMETHING OF A SIMILAR VEIN AND I AM LOSING MY SHIT

Anyway I just felt the need to share this. I have NO evidence to back this up, this is just my ADHD ass hyperfixating of something and running it into the ground, so take this as you will.
