OK HEAR ME OUT HERE
I couldn't get the idea of Hylia talking to Link right after he defeats Ganon.. Like RIGHT after, he hasn't even seen Zelda yet and he gets sucked into wherever Hylia lives
And then the Ithaca saga dropped with the PERFECT song for it.
I'd like to think that Hylia has regrets about what she can and can't control and she's just watching her beloved heroes fight and die for hundreds of years to the same enemy. That's gotta build up over time and what if BOTW was the breaking point?

I wonder if people are going to migrate from tiktok to tumblr due to the upcoming ban?
I say we pull a goncharov, fire the rent lowering gunshots, make it generally unpleasant or terribly confusing for a few days. Unlike redditors, i doubt they would integrate well into our ecosystem. It would be like fish swarms from the coral reefs entering the deep oceans where the creatures feast on whalefall.
If they survive the hazing, then they can integrate. But they gotta be hazed first.

sister update: She and baby are generally okay, but she had preeclampsia and has to be hospitalized until the birth. It will likely be induced/premature, so they are giving her steroids for the baby's lungs and holding it off until week 35 or so. Any prayers for a safe delivery are appreciated.

People keep on being shocked christianity is attractive to women, like that hasn't been the case since Jesus was walking the earth and Mary was sitting at his feet, and Martha was planning a dinner party for Him.

I’ve been sitting on this since my diagnosis, but last week I was diagnosed with auditory psychosis. Essentially I have a literal voice in my head, brought upon by severe trauma and abuse, that demands I go to things that cause me pain or leave me terrified. It’s a result of those being the two major feelings and experiences of most of my young life. This explains why I’m so drawn to things that either hurt me or terrify me.
Please say a prayer as I wait for my psyche appointment to get on proper medications! It’s not until February.

I never got the "Well Jesus didn't say X, so it doesn't matter that a prophet/disciple said X" logic. Like y'all know those people were chosen either by Jesus or God to speak on Their behalf, right? You're basically saying that They suck at picking followers and speakers and we shouldn't trust them to pick the right people. We are told EXPLICITLY that killing babies is wrong. It doesn't matter that Jesus wouldn't the one to say it, God The Father and prophets chosen by Him said it. (1/2)
(2/2) It doesn't matter if Jesus said "no homo" (even though He did say marriage is between a man and a woman, that's literally where the quote comes from) God and His prophets and Jesus' disciples that He hand picked, said it.
Exactly! when you're reading the Bible it's not just the red words that are important. The entire book is God's word.

Not really a big fan of chocolate tbh. I only like it if it's mixed with caramel, or in a cookie.
Would you rather give up chocolate or cheese?

Nine rings were made for men. Seven for the dwarves, three for the elves, and one for the big guy himself. One, three, seven, nine. There is but a set of five missing to complete the sequence of odd numbers. I propose that this missing set of rings of power was gifted to a mysterious someone by their true love, along with a partridge in a pear tree (among other things). In this essay I will-

AITA for striking my (M43) son (M20) when he rejected me as his father?
I understand that the title might have you thinking the worst, but please hear me out.
I didn't have a relationship with my son for basically all his life. This was due to my circumstances at the time: I went through a major personal tragedy and was severely injured, to the point of being on life support. To this day I have a lot of issues with my health.
I recently reconnected with my son. I immediately invited him to meet my boss (M92), in hopes that I could set him up with a job opportunity. I feel that this is significant. As far as I know, my son has been working in menial jobs in agriculture, but then apparently chose to leave that life and - to my shock - join a criminal syndicate.
I felt as if getting a good government job would be a way to turn over a new leaf in his life, especially given his past. However, he immediately became combative. I attempted to give him some guidance in managing his emotions, but he rejected that as well.
I'm sad to say that the argument became physical. Some blows were exchanged, but in the end, I was angry enough to strike him. I immediately felt very bad, and decided to offer him the government job on the spot. He rejected me again, and chose to leave very abruptly. I haven't had any contact with him since.
So, AITA?
Edit: Yes, I admit that to call it striking him was an understatement. To clarify, I cut off his hand.
Edit: However, I feel like it should be stated that I myself am a quadruple amputee and we have excellent healthcare.
Edit: I did not immediately identify myself as his father when we met. I think this was my mistake. I think he would have been much more receptive of my message had I done so. As it stands I only told him of our relationship after I had struck him.
Edit: My wife is not in the picture. To my knowledge she passed before his birth.
