Chris: Oh they'll have you. It was a condition I negotiated into my contract that you got the first offer of the stunt coordinator role. And that's total bullshit. The least they could do is actually tell you what's going on instead of just keeping you in suspense.

Cisco: That sounds about right. I'm glad they want you back in the suit and that you're feeling ready to down the cowl again.

Cisco: Well, if they'll have me then count me in. I'm always up for working alongside my brother and making sure you're actually safe. Plus with all the absolute bullshit happening over at Marvel and how they're handling Blade, I don't think I'll be back to work with them anytime soon.

Chris: Go for it. I think a lot of people will be excited that I'm back.

DJ: Just know I'll likely quote you on that for press. I'm really happy for you Chris and I'm ready to hype the hell out of your return.

Chris: I'll definitely put some feelers out there, and try to get some of them. I'll just send them all your books and see who loves them as much as it deserves.

Celeste: I'm excited too! Honestly if it got picked up by AMC or some of the talent behind the scenes there, that would be the dream. What the teams behind The Walking Dead and the 2 Anne Rice shows (Witches of Mayfair and Interview with the Vampire) have done has been incredible. Not to mention they had talented teams for Mad Men, Breaking Bad, and A Discovery of Witches.

DJ: Back up, 3??? I think I should be asking YOU how it feels to be signing on for 3 more Bat-flicks?

I mean those interviews are honestly me just being a giant nerd nonstop. I've been told they're really entertaining, but I try not to watch myself in interviews.

That's just really impressive. I don't think I ever watched your Batman press junkets, so I'm learning all this stuff first-hand by talking to you haha.

Chris: My guess is the strikes made them want something that was going to get them money. But even if they haven't, I'm just excited to get the chance to put on the suit again.

Chris: which I'm putting my foot down and I want you working on these movies. I do not trust the stunt people unless you're on the squad.

Cisco: No shit??!? That's amazing. I wonder how long they've been sitting on that plan. Congrats, mate! You're going to be busier than ever lol

Chris: Well in that case, I think that you'll be able to manage your time better if you get to live closer.

Chris: I know! I'm so happy for both of them.

Cris: I KNOW!

Cris: I have no intentions of going for a federal job. And honestly, my next election could bring me closer to home. But that is the last I will say about it, for now.

Cris: That’s so exciting! They’re so cute together. I love that you still talk to Ro and are close enough to him to know that.

Chris: honestly with the way they pitched it, and the way that Knightfall should work should let me train in a way that I can handle. Batman Beyond is still happening too, I think they're planning on finding a way to connect it with these movies. But I did make Kima put a clause in the contract that if I physically can't do it, I can drop out without any penalty. I just...I've missed playing him.

Juniper: Holy cow, three movies? That's certainly more than 'a'-nother movie [laughs a little]. What about Batman Beyond? I know you said that it's still happening but where will that fit in with all of this? And... are you feeling up for all of those?

Chris: Okay I am down for this. I'm excited, I haven't done much voice acting since the Lego movies, so this will be a lot of fun.

Chris: Agreed! I'm excited to go to Italy it's been awhile since I've been home.

Chris: Please do! And send me the dates you'll need recording to Kima because my schedule is filling up fast.

Chris: spoiler alert because it's being announced tomorrow so you can't tell until then: I just signed 3 more Batman movies

Chris: I wasn't convinced until they told me the plan. They're doing Knightfall, which is the one where Bruce gets his back broken by Bane, which means they'll actually be setting up accommodating my back injury into the plot of the movie and reinventing the fighting style that I use so that I can still do it. Then they're doing the Court of Owls and leading that into Rise of the Red Hood and slowly building up having the whole BatFam involved by the end of the three movies, and my fanboy heart couldn't so no to that.

Juniper: [gasps] Really? Chris, that's huge news! Are you going to accept the offer?

Chris: PERFECT! I'm so excited to work on this with you. Also let me know if there's any shows that you really like the writers for, I'll see if we can snag some of them.

Celeste: Does a bear shit in the woods??

Celeste: Please don't text me an actual answer to that question. Yes, I'm interested!

Your sarcasm is not doing you any favors, and I'm definitely not convinced that you didn't mean those things. So I will not be accepting your fake apology, I don't do that. Once you're willing to be sincere, then we'll talk.

But I will give you a very important piece of advice: get a publicist. Because if you keep acting like this on the internet, you will not get work. It's the fastest way to get blacklisted.

Right, well, like I said, I totally didn't mean any of those things I said. I Definitely think you deserve your Oscar and Tony and Emmy :) Yep.

I don't think you're the worst Batman. I've never said that. I certainly respect your career and what you've been through and what you've faced is something I'd never wish on even the most asshole of assholes. [deleted: But you took my chance from me. Chris: Not only is Batman Beyond still happening .....but I just signed 3 more Batman movies. MY Batman.

Cisco: Yeah I know. You have been for years. Is this just a random reminder to me? 🤔

You know I've actually collected the comics of each of the arcs that the movies have covered. Plus I really love the mystery aspects of it, and I think that kind of lore dive is one of the biggest things that I mess about my Batman prep.

This is why people say you're the best Batman. You think about these things like his comic characteristics along with the lore and everything.

Chris: Which you didn't hear this from me, but he's about to propose to his boyfriend, so fully expect to be going to that wedding within the next year
