[11:56pm] "Yangyang, can we talk?" You approached him the moment he arrived at your shared apartment.
"I'm tired." He replied, not even sparing you a glance, too busy with his shoes and continued his way in.
"But this is serious. You always tend to brush me off." You were running out of patience.
"We'll talk tomorrow."
"No. I want to talk now." You were angry by now.
Yangyang scoffed, and looks at you. "Come on Y/N. Stop being immature." He commented.
"Immature?" You softly replied, quite taken aback. Tears now brimming your eyes.
Yangyang was oblivious of how hurt you were because of what he said. "Yes, you are. We won't be having an argument in the first place if "the talk" can wait until tomorrow."
You forced yourself not to break down right then and there. "Do you still even consider me as your girlfriend at this point? You barely even have time to spend with me nowadays. I completely understand you're tight on schedule given the nature of your work. But everytime you're home, you still spend your little free time playing games with the guys until the early wee hours the next day. And by the time I wake up, you're already gone. How do you think that would make me feel?" You finally vented out your frustrations at him.
Yangyang has his frustrations too, but he chose to just dismiss it, thinking you're being too emotional at the moment. "Your emotions are acting up. Take a rest and we'll talk about it tomorrow." And he just silently went to take a shower.
"You're unbelievable." You scoffed, disappointed at his lack of response.
After bawling your eyes out, curling up on the bed, Yangyang indeed never came in to console or comfort you at least. Just as you thought, he was passed out in front of his computer after playing games with the guys.
You have been feeling lonely for weeks now. You felt that your relationship got toxic. You two always fight with just everything and the lack of response to solve it from Yangyang's side is slowly eating you up. It was hurting you, unbeknownst to Yangyang.
With a heavy heart, you quietly packed up your bags. You are running away from all of this. You decided to save yourself from a much more hurtful damage that could possibly occur in the future.
Nearing the door, you debated whether to check up on him for the last time, but you went against it. Instead, you left something on the kitchen counter for him. "Goodbye, Yangyang. I love you, always."
Early morning came and Yangyang stirred up from his sleep. He stretched his aching body after falling asleep in an uncomfortable position on his gaming chair. He looked at the clock and he saw that it's already 6 in the morning.
He lazily walked into your shared bedroom to see if you're still sleeping, he knows it's too early for you to wake up at this hour.
His drowsiness washes off when he was welcomed by an empty bed, instead of your peacefully sleeping form that he's used to see every morning. He decided to check the bathroom for any signs of you, he checked the living room too, basically everywhere, but the results were futile. You were nowhere to be found. He was panicking and worry is etched on his face.
He slumped down on one of the chairs in the kitchen, raking his brain to where you could have gone. Just then, something caught his eye. There, sitting on the kitchen counter, was your ring. The all too familiar promise ring he had given you on your first anniversary.
Realization finally dawned upon him. Just to be sure, he went back to your shared bedroom and opened up the cabinets, only to be once again, empty of your things.
You left him. And he knows it was his fault. He has no one else to blame, but himself.
His legs gave out as if they were noodles and slumped down on the ground. "I'm sorry Y/N. I'm sorry." He chanted again and again, but it was too late.

[10:35am] Your usually peaceful morning took a turn when all of a sudden, hockey player Jeno approaches your direction and surprisingly stops in front of you.
He was clad in simple white t-shirt topped with a denim jacket - enough to make every lady in your school to swoon - with two cups of coffee in hand.
He picks up one cup and gives it to you. "I got you iced mocha. I believe, your favorite." He adds and throws a smile, then proceeds to his seat as if it's nothing.
You blinked, unable to process what happened. It's such a rare sight to see him associating with anyone, other than his friends. Let alone giving coffee to someone, especially a girl.
To say your heart wasn't swayed was a lie. You felt your heart skip a beat at that unexpected gesture to say the least. Everyone in the lecture hall gasped. Thank heavens you were saved by your professor arriving in time, before anyone could interrogate you.
When the lecture ended, you planned to thank Jeno for the coffee earlier, but he beat you to it. He was already waiting behind you. You jumped a little, shocked of how close he was. He was smiling, that famous eye smile he have.
You gulped, temporarily forgetting what you were about to say. "Uhhh... thanks for the coffee."
He chuckled, and it was freaking lovely. "You're welcome. I was able to answer most items on the exam earlier because you agreed to tutor me even though we started on a wrong foot."
You recalled the memory from last night at the cafè. He was loudly munching on his ice and you went to complain to him about it. He knew you as you both take the same Chemistry class.
He ended up asking you a favor of teaching him a certain topic for your exam, which you agreed eventually after much persuasion and his damn puppy eyes. And that's how you spent an all nighter with Lee Jeno.
"It's nothing. I'm glad I helped, even if it's a little." You replied bashfully, and heart beating rapidly.
"So... study sessions again tonight? Same time, same place? It's still finals week, I'm sure you're gonna study still." He started and looked at you. "I mean... if you want?"
"Yeah, sure." You shyly replied and smiled, which he returned with his adorable smile too.
Maybe spending a second all night studying with the famous athlete won't be as bad as you thought it would be.
