I was delighted to have an article published in the Botanical Society of Britain and Ireland’s Welsh Bulletin. It was a write up of a recent session of our Aberystwyth Botanical Society’s visit to the dunes at Ynyslas to the north of Ceredigion.

Thanks to Sea Changers!
We are delighted to acknowledge funding from the Sea-changers, who are making possible our new project - Trash and Treasure. We will combine regular beach cleans with all sorts of activities, from learning about our marine fish in Cardigan Bay to exploring the Rock Pools, as well as discovering the plants and insects that live on the grassy areas nearby. Everyone welcome! #BeASeaChanger

Very pleased indeed to get a mention in the prestigious British Wildlife magazine - in the Aprill 2022 edition, with the wonderful and very stinky Devil’s Fingers (Clathrus archeri)!

Really chuffed to have my article on Waxcaps published in the new Natur Cymru magazine, and also one I co-wrote with Lizzie Wilberforce, the Editor, on how not to crush the spirit of learners! Fab magazine, here’s how to get your copy: https://www.natureconservation.wales/product/natur-cymru/

Very pleased to have an article on our local pond published on the British Dragonfly Society’s website. Meg and I are working on a dragonfly survey for this pond, following government guidelines for safety, over this summer, and will be reporting back how the life of the pond develops. So far we’ve had a Large Red Damselfly and an Azure Damselfly, plus a dozen exuviae. We look forward to future sightings.
