A male customer approached me tonight and asked if he could ask me a technical question.. he asked how I get my genital area so smooth. And because for some strange reason he completely forgot that shocker.. I am a real human and don’t know him. So it’s none of his business. I told him that that’s an inappropriate question.. and by the time I got back on stage he was showing nothing but shame in his eyes.
No one should ask anyone such a question. You don’t approach women at the beach and ask that question. It’s a sign that you’re a creep. My job doesn’t give you a reason to act like a creep. The media has fed you wrong. Be a better human!

Must be nice to be with someone who loves you as much as you love them.

La Gazelle d’Or, a beautifully luxurious and exclusive hotel, opened in 1961 in the secluded Moroccan city of Taroudant. It has become a popular destination for artists, the socially elite, and the newly wealthy. Among the patrons of the hotel is the former first couple, Jacques and Bernadette Chirac. Nestled in the organic landscape of southern Morocco, the hotel combines visual elements of Moroccan architecture and French interior design, creating a perfect mixture of exotic and classic, old and new.

Many spiritual people are involved in a radical denial of what is happening. They want to transcend it, get rid of it, get out of it, get away from it. There’s nothing wrong with that feeling, but the approach doesn’t work because it’s escapism in spiritual clothing. It’s wearing spiritual clothing and spiritual concepts, but it is really no different than a drunk in the gutter who doesn’t want to feel the pain anymore. When you abide and accept everything completely and fully, you automatically go beyond.

Trust yourself. At the root, at the core, there is pure sanity, pure openness. Don’t trust what you have been taught, what you think, what you believe, what you hope. Deeper than that, trust the silence of your being.

The Apartment by @thelinenyc is perfection pt. 4 (also, I can’t wait to check out the new Chicago apartment when I get back to the Windy City this weekend! When I was visiting NY last month + the stylists at The Apartment told me that a Chicago location was in the works, I think I actually squealed because I was so thrilled 🙈) (at The Apartment by The Line - New York)

It amazes me how three of my closest best friends all have the same understanding that when I set my mind to do something even when I know it's risky and could blow up in my face, I just gotta do it. And they let me. Not because they don't care, but because they know I'm the kind that needs to experience it to the end to see what will happen. It's my own stubborn way of wanting to prove the superstition or facts of something wrong. It's like that risky feeling of passing by a decent parking spot only to go closer to find a better spot. Because I know that if I go further, it could probably not work out and I lose my chance of that other spot.. but there just might be an open closer spot available. I like to take a chance even when I have experience of it not working before. It's not that I'll never learn. I know. I take note. I acknowledge. But what if? And if I don't take that leap, well then I'll be somewhere down the road and continue to wonder, what if I had tried? I'd hate to live a life of not taking chances. Taking chances has gotten me far. I'll still be my hermit self, but when the times are right.. I take action for a chance at something magical.
