this is going to make me sound like a complete third wave girlboss feminist so forgive me in advance for libbing out a little bit. but when you look at content in your social media feed that promotes regressive gender roles and it makes you bemoan “there’s no hope for women” maybe that’s just because you just follow influencers. try following female journalists, academics, authors, and directors. or better yet get off social media and read a book written by a woman. or written by anyone about anything. yeah there is a misogyny problem On Line but it’s not because some random woman posted about “girl math” or lana del ray lyrics and the sooner you move on from like weird radfem doomerism the better your life will get
