Title : Murder of Roger Ackroyd
Author : Agatha Christie
Page : 304
Genre : Criminal Fiction
.
.
Review : This is the third novel to feature Hercule Poirot as the lead detective. Poirot lived in the same village as his friend Roger ackroyd who was killed. After his sad demise, many narratives came. Everyone has right to know the truth.
🌼Roger, a middle-aged businessman was suddenly found dead and it arose many questions. Mrs. Ferrars who was also died on the same day morning didn’t only live in Roger’s village but also was known to him. According to the narrator of the story, Mr. Sheppard who’s a doctor by profession, Mrs. Ferrars had sent something suspicious information about her to Roger and also told him to take care.
🌼🌼Many people who lived in Roger’s house or related to Roger were questioned by detective Poirot.
🌼🌼🌼 Poirot is a great detective as well as a good human being. His excellent theories to explain the incident logically and style of investigation is really impressive.
🌼🌼🌼🌼The end of the story is really surprising. It’s shocking to know the real culprit behind Roger’s murder.

An afternoon of Spring
.
.
|| Kolkata Diaries||
.
It's taken in March, last year. The earth faced pandemic. There was lockdown globally. It's taken sharp one week before of the lockdown in India. The people had fear in their minds for the unknown virus. The roads were more deserted than before. The dynamics of the whole world was changed.
And, it was my last hike without mask in Kolkata. The city of joy was turned into "the city of fear".
It's was a lonely lane in Kolkata. The colour of springs had painted the city very well. Spring came in his way just like every year.
Spring comes for very short span in Bengal. The beauty of Spring is forever amazing in Kolkata.
