Putting out a really tentative idea for a charthur event in june or july (maybe around the summer sulstice?)

Same rules apply, but it’d just be an open day(or couple of days) with some prompts for inspo to hopefully get anymore good, non-whitewashed, non-racist, non-transphobic content in this fandom. 

Full disclosure this is Gwen alone just putting this out as a feeler, if there’s a good response then we’ll work on getting some more admins/rechecking with existing admins but after the ridiculous amount of lying and harassment that came from a couple people making assumptions and being very hypocritical I’m kinda eh about running another event and so are the other mods. 

If you come from a place of ignorance and biased reactionary feelings towards people you don’t know or because you think two completely unrelated adults being shipped is ‘problematic’ go ahead and sit down for some humble pie thanks, cause i’m not gonna sit around and argue with people who can’t read a definition or don’t know that ‘indian’ isn’t an acceptable thing to call Charles <3

Woohoo! ♥️ please explain for dummy me - what exactly falls under the statement “fetishisation of Charles”? Regarding nsfw content it can be hard to catch.

I think most of it is common sense but we’re primarily concerned with stuffing Charles into any harmful trope or racist stereotype faced by Indigenous and Black men.

these next two links are for the Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia, it’s a large site with a lot of topics covering the treatment of minorities using surviving ‘memorabilia’. It’s not censored and I want to give a warning to anyone who clicks on these that ‘racist memorabilia’ and in general hateful memorabilia should be taken seriously. It’s ugly and it’s honest, but the mission of the museum is to teach us not to repeat history.

eitrad’s original tweet saying that sapphic week was/should be ‘cancelled’ and my replies (the third is just a me saying we’ll keep our enby rep since antis would rather bitch) 

the classic anti tactic of ignoring the fact that their tweet ‘cancelling’ sapphic week now showed up when you search ‘sapphic week’ 

it wasn’t ‘munchy and her followers’ it was the creator of sapphic week, and myself, because these freaks would literally try to ‘cancel’ any rep over a ship they think is ‘problematic’

morston is literally neither incest nor pedophilia *inherently* because fucking surprise it’s an interpretation of fiction in alternate universes where nothing is inherent

underage content involving either john or arthur wasn’t allowed in morston week and anyone who knows me knows i bitch about this constantly, 

just because you were in contact with someone as a minor and then get together as two ADULTS isn’t pedo
